Today, I learned something important. As the semester ends, people tend to check out. I say this with the meaning of them being done with that class. They just want break to be here and for classes to be over with. I learned it is better to take one day at a time.

Today, I learned it is better to study after a nice meal; therefore, you are full of energy and ready to go. Food is very good and helps fuel the mind. It is very important to study for test and quizzes. Doing well in school is a major key in life.

I have learned that it is important to attend class. No matter what happens class is important. Yes, we pay for the class, therefore, we should attend the class. You only get out what you put in. Attend class and learn something.

I have learned Thanksgiving is meant to be spent with the people that you care about most. Home is where the heart is and nothing can change that. Spend the holidays with your family and lived ones. One day they won't be there.

Today in class, I learned how to use the short text field type. The type is special, because we changed it to be a phone number. The field automatically puts in the parentheses. This makes it very easy for people. There are other tricks of the trade, in which help the user.

Today in class, I learned how to make a form and a report in Access. All you need is data in order to make these. Once you have data placed in tables, you use it to make it into a form and/or a report. A form is something you can hand out with information on it. A report is a detailed paper work. That is what I learned today.

If you make a series of small tables, you can use them to make drop arrows inside of a bigger table. This feature is very handy when working with lists and large groups. Access is very easy to get the hang of once you start to understand it. Designing a table in the design mode is super simple. After you design the table in that view, you need to change to datasheet to imput the data.

Access is a program dealing with databases. You use databases more than you think. About 75% of all websites could be identified as databases. The data makes up the databases.

Excel is a great program that is user friendly. It does most of the math for you if you apply the right formulas. The formulas are a major key with working with an excel spreadsheet. They control everything that is going on; they can make life easy for you or difficult. It all depends on if you imput the formula in correctly. Always double check the formulas as you type them in. This is a very good habit to get into doing. If this habit is done, you will save a lot of time while working in excel.

In order to publish a website on the Web, your website must go through a server. That server controls what the website does. The server can keep it public and or keep it private. Working through this project was very entertaining, and I suggest others to try to make a website.

Today, I learned in my tech class how to link more than one different page together. It was really simple and easy. The steps are fairly easy to follow. You have to have all your websites saved in the same folder. That is a major key.

I learned in class that it's nice to come with an open mind. Everyday you could learn something. Life is tough, but so are people. We fall down and get back up. Everyome we fall; however, we learn something that makes us better for the next time.

This morning, I learned I need to keep an open mind. I need to be a positive light for others; therefore, I can make myself happy by helping others. A life lesson was learned today. A lesson that will be with me for the rest of my life.

I'm in my tech class again. That is why I have this Tumblr. I learned today that on websites you put images into tables so they don't move and you can separate other items with them. You set the borders of the table to zero; therefore, you will not see the pictures are in a table. Crazy, I know this blew my mind. I hate my class. Another, thing I learned is that there are rules to naming files. The file name became part of the website name. It helps to name everything in lowercase and with no spaces. That is what I learned in class.

I learned today in class websites are much more complex then meets the eye. We are discussing the images and labels on a website in class. Today, I learned each button or link on a website is a image hyperlink; therefore, websites have many components. Images, hyperlinks, text, and videos are the simple components, there are many more.

I learned that school will get shut down for a hurricane. A hurricane can be very destructive, but it the eyes of a student, it's a couple days off. Hurricane Mathew was a good thing for me, but for others probably not so much. Hope life goes well.

Today, My tech was tired. She was so tired that she forgot what she was talking about in the middle of a sentence. I know I normally put down something I learned, but today is different, because I did not learn a thing. It was a bad day for this class.
