Draw & Fire Studio

For anybody curious about my training for the Upcoming Spartan Race, here's my current routine: Not seen on the video is my chinup/Ab workout, then I'm running sprints in my backyard, with Burpees at the end of each lap (30-40 laps depending) then carrying a 50lb weighted vest back and forth, switching carry shoulders by going full extension over my head each lap, then 20 Burpees, then lunges with the vest, again, switching shoulders (again, overhead) with each lunge; once I can't carry the vest any longer, I drop it and do 30 lunges under my own weight then 10 more carrying the vest again. I'm doing this 2-3 times a day, and working, and being a family man. -Boom! Not bad considering where I was less than 2 weeks ago.

I got asked how I balance Life with working as a freelance artist. (The answer can be found on my Facebook, and Tumblr) and that answer made me want to spend more time with my family; so, Today I put on a rebel’s leather jacket, and threw caution to the wind; Consequences be damned! I ain’t got time for caring about The Man. -DAMN the Man! I'm a renegade with a Devil may care attitude. A rebel without a cause, An instigator, A ne'er do well. All these things and more; I’m a freelance artist who’s out of excuses. Nobody even try to stop me. I’m just too dangerous! I took a Sunday off to go antiquing with my family.

So, yeah, I guess my advice for Finding balance is to give in to imbalance. It’s not a charmed life, but I get to hang with my wife and daughter. If all that’s just too much for you, a 9 to 5 may be more your speed.
