This is because most (if not all) fight choreography in film is planned and structured to match the beat of a musical time signature, typically 4/4 time, in order to keep an engaging rhythm for the audience. 4/4 time is the most common time signature in music. Hence, why it matches "Shut Up And Drive" and many other popular songs so well. Additionally, this ensures that the composer will be able to craft structured music that will suit the scene, rather than things being chaotic for the sake of chaos.

If you're musically inclined, try counting beats while watching other fight scenes you can think of; you'll see the pattern crop up!

I just finished a multi month long heroic playthrough of all the fps Halo games.

Roughly time spent per game

I started in November with Halo: Reach, which took me like a month, then I did the first bit of Halo 2 (until the Covenant gand In Amber Clad go to instillation 05) which took like a week and a half, then Halo 3 ODST which took 3 weeks, then the rest of halo 2 which took a week and a half, then 3 which took a week and a half, then Halo 4 which took a week, then Halo 5, Guardians which took 2 months, then Halo: Infinite which took less that a week.

Lessons learned

Mobility is king, Osyrus doesn't suck actually, halo infinite brutes are the stuff of nightmares.

That is weird

So I just woke up from a dream about a transformers movie called Destruction of Cybertron, it was about Optimus Prime and Megatron teaming up to fight Tarantulas who was trying to do, Something. The animation was like the Generation 1 movie mixed with Devastation (kind of) mixed with Full Metal Achemist Brotherhood, I remember specifically 2 shots, a boulder being bisected with (I think) Optimus on one side and POSSIBLY Megatron on the other, the other shot was optimus riding a boulder with his left leg on the highest point so his knee was bent, I remember it specifically being the Generation 1 Optimus
