I realized this week that Tsyprucee has two moons therefore extreme tidal variation and seasons. Wolfmen live by the coast but they didn't look they did so I fixed it. They now have longer front limbs and are generally a lot more heron like.

Here are some of the main bodytypes from the main regions they are native to. There are exceptions to these like Caou wolfmen being costal but generally very bulky and some inland groups being slender. Polar individuals have no scales on their limbs for better heat retention.

Sentient apex predator on the cabagu homeplanet. They hunted cabagu in the forested interior of the planet during their exploration age, so cabagu basically hunted them to extinction... They still exist, but only in isolated, scattered groups. Cabagu are still unaware of their intelligence.

Their hunting stratagy is to sit very still and strike out at prey when it gets close enough,

Here is an image of my character Yarlu styling her integument in a gender affirming fashion. She occupies a transfeminine/transmodor gender space within her culture, with short "feathers" being considered somewhere between feminine and gender neutral.

She is a Lower vitvit who has joined a nearby monastic order for a variety of reasons. Members of her monastic order tend to wear gender neutral clothing and "hair" styles which is what initially attracted Yarlu to the order.

The mirror she is viewing herself in has a stylized vitvit eye at each corner, which serve a religious/ apotropaic purpose. The bottle on the shelf in front of her is stylized with "kee plant" imagery and contains oil used to stylize and maintain the scale-like integument common to both vitvit and kee.

Subterranean dudes I nailed the design of basically first try.

I've been sloooowly working my way through getting all the aliens I want to be in Sacred Estuaries up and off the ground and FINALLY got around to designing the last guys I wanted (at least for now). Now I can make ref sheets yayayayay.

Also surprise! There's a main story! I haven't talked about it much because it's still in the early planning stages but there's a Story with a Plot that takes place in this universe. I want to eventually make it a comic but I know this is a very long endeavor and I'm going to have to build up both my stamina and comic making skills before I can dive headfirst into what I KNOW is going to be a multi-year project.
