In Acosf chapter 60, we had the 21 chapter of Vaylkrie book (and sjm said chapter 21 on acoten) which given the „valkyrie cycle” and sjm hints could hint at Valkyries being at the centre of this next arc or just being a lot more important than we thought, HOFAS tho gave us clues about the plot itself

Selene mentioned that once she returned to Prythian, it got „splintered” into territories a.k.a courts.
It happened after Fyonn died a.k.a High king of Prythian, Prythian started to crumble and got divided into courts.
I believe Acotar 6 could start the High king/ queen storyline
Maybe Rhysand becomes a high king? (I would not like that lol) or Nesta a high queen? who knows🤷🏻

I think it’s about Prythian - it got broken by the death of it’s ruler and it got divided so maybe it’s leading to it’s union.
Perhaps Acotar 8 title could have something related to union + music related? Like A court of Unified Symphony? Just an idea

It’s story was long gone, buried and forgotten but it will be uncovered obviously and it will mess everything up - ✨what was lost will be reclaimed✨ - the whole court will get awakened too and possibly open a gate to other worlds👀
Nesta, after literally telling us that Azriel was the new ribbon.
It’s actually funny watching people spend the past five years degrading the valks, saying they have no significance to the story because they’re just Nesta’s friends, while minimizing their friendship, accomplishments, and even Gwyn’s trauma.
And now suddenly people want to theorize about Elain becoming a Valkyrie?
To be clear, I am not against Elain or any woman, becoming stronger, learning to fight, or becoming a warrior.
(I actually hope mor ends up training with them since she said she dreamed of training the original valks)
That is not the issue. The issue is watching people who have spent years absolutely sh**ting on the valkyries suddenly try to fit them into their narrative because it could potentially create another pathway to put Elain closer to Azriel.
So the Valkyries are irrelevant until they can benefit your ship? Then suddenly their training, friendship and place in the story matter?
Meanwhile, Gwyn supposedly has absolutely no connection to Azriel despite the clear narrative energy SJM has already placed between them, but people will bend over backwards to create entirely new pathways to connect Elain to him.
You cannot spend years mocking and diminishing the valkyries, calling them irrelevant and acting like they have no purpose beyond Nesta, only to suddenly want to insert Elain into their storyline because it benefits your narrative.

The only characters directly tied to Koschei’s plot are Elain and Lucien. Elain has already been given visions of him and the enslaved women at his lake, while Lucien worked with Papa A to free Vassa, the human queen Koschei cursed and continues to hold power over, so Lucien may know Papa A bargain. Their connection to that storyline is established in canon, not manufactured from vague symbolism, recycled theories, or wishful thinking. You can give the plot to whoever you want in your head, but on the page, every road leading to Koschei runs through Elain, Lucien, and Vassa.
Azriel and the Valkyries, as of right now, are not directly tied to Koschei. That’s simply what canon currently shows. And I’m saying this on the record as someone who is incredibly excited for more of the Valkyries, I know this story won’t belong exclusively to them.
The synopsis strongly suggests a multi-POV book with several missions unfolding simultaneously before eventually converging. Elain and Lucien cannot be everywhere, just as Nesta, Gwyn, Emerie, and Azriel cannot be everywhere. Everyone will likely have a distinct role within the larger conflict, which feels very much like an Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn setup, separate journeys and storylines that ultimately serve the same overarching plot.

I hope we get a clueless Azriel, not realising that Gwyn is flirting with him. Meanwhile his shadows are going crazy!

Guys please….the books with The Valkyrie Cycle on them have nothing to do with the actual Valkyries established in the previous book.
Elain will become the ultimate superhuman nova goddess one true Valkyrie it’s so obvious!
Let’s not forget that not up to 48 hours ago they were shitting on the Valkyries and the leaked titles saying SJM would never…
