It was the silence that sounded the loudest. It was the gloss in your eyes that shined the most. It was the absence of Hoseokâs hand in yours that felt the heaviest. It was his inaudible exhale that answered the questions you never dared to ask. It was a dull sensation to be honest. It was a gradual realization that this will soon become a memory for you to remember but for him to forget. You never knew you needed an armor just to protect yourself from surrender. Hoseok was the one who walked away but why did you feel like you were the one who had lost. His capitulation can never be treated as a triumph because you werenât ready for his departure. You werenât ready for him to give up too soon. You can never consider his retreat a victory because it tasted too much like defeat. How could you have lost bullets to retaliate with when heâs the one who's pulled the trigger? Hoseok raised the white flag but why are you the only one bleeding?

It's three in the morning. Seokjin is asleep and you are wide awake but both of you have your feet set on common ground. It's twelve in the afternoon. Seokjin is awake and you are asleep but your lungs would always share a familiar space. It's seven in the evening. Both of you are now awake yet it's dusk for him but dawn for you. It is funny how neither of you were on foreign land but loving him felt like youâre in a different time zone.Â
Your love always felt like sleep. A love that was born in between your contrasting body clocks and different coffee preferences. Youâve greeted Seokjin a thousand variations of "good morning" with your poetry while he bid you to sleep. It grew on the two of you, the type of love that learned to find comfort in dreams and lullabies. It found solace in the silence of your shared meaning of evenings. A kind of love that you never knew how it arrived but would leave remnants of dried saliva on a pillow. It was conceived by your unsynchronized breathing, it was as if your uneven pulses gave life to a love that only beats when it's convenient, when you were both at peace. You settled for what "now" had in store for the two of you. You settled with comfortable. You didn't want to disrupt what you and Seokjin had and scurried away from the thoughts of your future. You confused cowardice with contentment.Â
They say love is sweet and warm but you guess in between Seokjin, being a daydreamer, and you, being a sleepwalker, love also learned to lie. It's cold and mean. The crisp sensation that lingers around your lips every time you wake up without him is the weight of all the words you left unsaid. There will always be a cold wave that rushes through your body every time you hear his name. The cool gush of wind that tickles your fingertips would always bring back the memory of when he avoided holding your hand. The frosty ache that hovers above your chest would remind you of the absence Seokjin left you with, it reminds you of how you never had him but you managed to lose him. The last time you parted, he gently planted a kiss on your forehead and every time you think of it, it only reminds you of how the worst part about falling in love is falling out of it and that the worst part about sleepwalking is waking up and you did, only to find out that Seokjinâs love had only been half asleep all this time.
It's four in the morning. Seokjinâs probably asleep now while you still write about him and think that you could have been very good for each other. It's two in the afternoon. Heâs probably awake and oblivious to the void youâve filled with futile emotions while you are in deep sleep, hoping to dream of him. It's nine in the evening and you bet heâs still probably unaware of how you failed to make him love you but you want to let him know that he have made a great job in making you love him.Â

Mystery, thatâs what you call Min Yoongi. You lay in bed at night, trying to decipher that beauty behind his gummy smile. Heâs elusive; he doesnât like the crowd, he has his own mind in his own elements and thatâs why you find him interesting. He reminds you of a flower thatâs about to bloom. Discrete but as time goes by; the complexity of his petal develops. You are bounded by his affection, of how conscious he gets of something in particular. Astute in his own ways. You could go on all night and describe every adjective that fits him but it wonât matter. You want him to look at you and see one fold of your genuine emotions towards him. Cut you and his name will bleed, you're a bundle of nerves and his breath takes you away; suffocated by his presence. He's a habit of creature. His voice haunts you at night; his perfectly sculptured features are permanently painted in your head.
You fell in love with Namjoon. No, rephrase it. Youâre sick in love with Kim Namjoon. Itâs a disease; You are irreversibly in love with him that no amount of medicine can cure it but him. You donât think thereâs an enough time in a day that you donât think of him.Â
You fell in love with the way he talks, how his face light up like sunshine whenever he gets excited or happy, how it easily states the obviousness of his mood, the simplicity of his actions and the ease of it makes you feel like youâve known him a thousand more than you think you do. You fell in love with the person inside of him that holds the pieces of you together.Â
Itâs insanely preposterous to think that a person could cause such an illness without the pathological idea of actual death; only a feeling of emptiness whenever heâs not around.Â
Namjoon is as essential as the oxygen. He is the air that fills up your lungs that you could breathe him in, feel him in your veins, pumping through your arteries. Namjoon is such a drug to you that you donât care if you are to have side effects or adverse reactions. Namjoon is just a stellar human being and you just couldnât fathom the feeling of it when heâs with you. Namjoon unhinges you in every way possible. The heaviness of his gawk when he looks at you in the eyes and not being able to utter a single word drowns you. Namjoon is as deep as the sea and you canât help but swim deeper. You want to know him like the back of your hand. Even though you are so acquainted with his actions, words, and physicality. It doesnât stop you from reading his chapters â You want to fill his pages with familiarity that you donât have to vent out an effort to perceive but rather innately.Â
If only you have the power to create such an intellectual word superior to love, you would have told him right now. You fell in love with the way his eyes seek out souls, how much of a good person he is, the way he consider things not because itâs suppose to be considered but because he understands. Namjoon goes beyond the limits and thatâs what makes him amazing. He has the ability to make such an immense impact in your life by just being him and you think no other person could beat that. Itâs maddening crazy.Â
You are in an inebriated state, drunk with the depth of his emotions. He consumes you badly. You are magnetic with his gravity.Â
You lay your head on the nook of Jungkookâs neck as he brought his arms around you, securing you. You nuzzle your forehead on his chin as he laugh, feigning the ticklish feeling. You smiled, not saying a word. It feels heavy, feels solemnly intimate; you donât speak yet you can feel the depths of his thoughts exhuming as his body intensifies. You can feel the warmth of his skin colliding with yours. He brushes your hair with his fingers, making your skin prickle as if the nerves in your spine has been electrified and you do nothing but embrace the moment.Â
You closed your eyes as you feel his lips on your cheeks, his light-feather touch outlining your face, bringing your chin to his. Jungkookâs eyes drowning you with desire and youâre left with no choice but to stare, and for the first time in your life, you feel weak. Your lips collide as your heart pounds, the silence in the room feels loud, consuming you both. Your bodies pressing against each other, ravishing, devouring, and God how you love it when he makes your soul ignite like youâre so powerless.Â
You lay like that for hours and then you thought to yourself, âIâll probably crave Jungkook more than ever.â

âRemember that night when we were walking down the pavement near your place, under the moonlight and our fingers intertwined?â
A moment of silence, not to remember, you both knew it was an unforgettable night for you and Taehyung, but you had to curve your lips into a smile and answer, âOf course I remember, never will I forget.â
âWell, I know it has been ages since you and I grew apart. Itâs just that every time I caress another personâs hand I inevitably remember how it felt like when I was holding yours. Like how we do remember a moment from our childhood and every time we repeatedly do it, memories flash back in our mind remembering how it felt like when we first tried it.â
The cars are honking, city lights shine brighter than the stars in the night sky, and the weather is as cold as my heart.
âYou know, you remind me of the stars.â Said the man beside me, for a moment I thought I was alone in my own holy mind but then I remembered, laying am I on a public property of the park. My back pressing against the moisturized grass and my eyes left me gawking at Jimin trying to initiate a conversation.
âExcuse me?â I murmured, trying to find my inner self.Â
âThere are millions of women out there, probably wishing they have someone to squeeze their bodies with, yet my mind is settled with a pool of thoughts of this particular star shining brightly at meâ Â he said, smirking. I didnât speak, nor have I found my voice box to throw words.Â
Jimin looked at me intensely and grabbed my jaw, âI donât know why you keep looking up when all you need is a mirror, you see; stars only appear at nightâ he continued, âan angel in disguise.â
Pairings: Seo Youngho + Reader (with mentions of Nakamoto Yuta)
Word Count: 3.3k
Genre: ANGST and fluff at the endÂ
Synopsis: Yuta was throwing a masquerade New Year party and you have nothing to do with it since you have been feeling like crap ever since your break-up with Johnny a week before. But when you end up kissing him without noticing it was him during the count down, you realized that the year wouldn't be the same with that tall boy by your side.
Note: my brain is fried ugh i don't know why my mind is still capable of writing a long ass fic in the midst of school.
"Y/N, please, let's go together. It's New Years!" Your friend begged as she hovered over you who was sitting on the couch just staring at the television not even bothering to respond.
"You have to go!" She tried once more but was only greeted with the sounds of the television behind her. "Y/N, you've been stuck here for a while and it's starting to become very bad. You never left the house ever since you saw Johnny-!"
"Don't," You spoke up for the first time until you started speaking. "Say it." You spat out before grabbing the remote to turn the television off and stand up. You started to walk away making your friend reach out and grab your arm to stop you, the look of worry crossing her features.
"Y/N, please come. Maybe you'll meet somebody else and maybe this party will make you forget about it. Yuta won't be happy if he doesn't see you there, either."
"I don't care, I'm not going. Have fun going, though. I think I'm going to sleep."
"No, you're not!" Your friend shouted. "You're going and that's final!"
"YF/N, I honestly don't want to go. Please, can't you give me a break-?"
"I have," she pointed out. "I have been giving you a break. Ever since that Christmas party, I have. I let you mope around, I let you sleep and eat all day, and I even let you stay home the entire time and I decided it's been going on long enough. You are going to that party and I won't take no for an answer."
Pressing her lip into a tight line, you only stared at your fierce-looking friend as if the look would break you. But no matter how long she stared and tried to change her mind, she wouldn't budge and it made you groan and cover your face with your palms.
"If I attend this stupid new year party will you stop bugging me then?"
"As long as you want."
Biting down on your lip in thoughts, you fought with yourself for a while before you agreed, a sigh coming out of your lips.
"Fine, I guess I'll go-"
"Yay! I promise I'll let you forget all about Johnny!"
"Can we please stop talking about him," You narrowed your eyes as your friend slapped her palm against her mouth.
"Sorry," she apologized sheepishly. "C'mon, let's go get you dressed up. How long has it been since you showered?!"
"Almost a week."
"You're disgusting!"
Wearing a short champagne cocktail dress with a matching white mask, you were all prepared for the masquerade new year party that Yuta decided to throw. You had your hair up in a beautiful curly bun and couldn't believe that it was really you in the mirror when you looked at it. Masks really do hide one's identity. You thought that was some bull crap since how can a simple mask that merely covers one's eyes make it hard for one to identify somebody? But looking at yourself and your friend, you barely recognized yourself.
Your friend even looked different with her orange dress and matching mask. If it wasn't for them getting ready together, she wouldn't have even known it was her.
"Why did Yuta even decide to have a masquerade new year party?"
"I don't know, you know how Yuta is," your friend said as she applied a coating of lip gloss. "but I think it's going to be fun."
Letting out a sigh, you looked at yourself one more time with your pocket mirror before looking up at the hotel where Yuta decided to hold his party.
Whenever that guy threw a party, he went all out. Renting out hotels or country clubs, whenever or whatever it was, the guy liked to make it big. He was just one of those party people that your parents warned you about.
When it started to get late, people all around started to come and they all wore beautiful dresses and suits, masks covering their identity making it hard for you to even see if anyone you knew came to the party.
"YF/N, I'm going to head inside and see if I can find Yuta, okay?"
"Okay! I'm just going to wait for my boyfriend," your friend said happily making yourself nod before heading inside the hotel.
You were guided to a room by the side of the lobby where you already saw multiple people crowding by. Yuta seemed to be at the front of the door, conveniently, and you felt so much better knowing you didn't have to go around searching for the host. You approached Yuta who wore a black tuxedo with a matching black mask covering his handsome face.
You only knew that was Yuta since he was the only one who had that healing smile and the only one who would match black and black.
"Yuta," you spoke up catching the man's attention. He looked over and saw you, squinting and staring at you, trying to figure you out. "it's me, Y/N."
"Y/N!" The guy cried out as soon as the name slipped out of his mouth. He went on over to where you are, enveloping you into a bear hug and squeezing the air out of you. "I missed you, I am so glad you are here, I didn't think you would make it!"
"Well I was kind of forced to."
"How are you? Are you well? How's the... uh, y'know, coming along?"
"It's fine," you let out a breath. "I'm fine. I mean, I think I am."
"Don't worry, Y/N. I showed him a piece of my mind." He placed a hand on your shoulder, smiling proudly to have his friend offer a smaller smile. "Come on, why don't we grab a drink and have some fun? We can forget all about that idiot for a while-come, I have all of your favorites."
Unable to say no to the guy, you allowed a soft smile to appear and allowed to be taken to the food table where rows of her favorite food scattered.
"Y/N, I'm going to have to go and start the countdown. Do you think you can hang by yourself for a bit?" Yuta asked as the two of you drank wine and hovered around the corner. You pulled your glass away and offered a smile.
"Of course, go do your thing, Yuta. It's 11:57 and you don't want it to pass."
"Thanks, I'll be right back." He said before he disappeared into the crowd of people.
It left you standing there by yourself yet again as you sipped on your wine and observed the area.
There were many people everywhere, wearing masks and yet having an amazing time. They all seemed to know each other or they were all strangers, getting to each other. You didn't know what was stopping you but you didn't want to speak to anybody but stand against the corner and be a wallflower. It made you at ease and you're not in the mood to speak to anyone, anyways.
Taking another sip of your glass, you realized that you have just finished your drink and let out a sigh, walking over to one of the table to pop open a bottle of champagne.
And at that moment, you heard Yuta's voice through the speakers.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to thank you all for attending my masquerade New Years party." He spoke up making everyone cheer in response. "Now, it's eleven fifty eight and in one minute, the countdown is going to start! Can we please have the clock up?" He turned towards the wall where it projected the sixty second timer. Right next to it was the time, indicating when it would start and when it would exactly be New Years.
While Yuta was speaking, you merely drank and stared, wondering how the new year would be for you.
Will you finally be able to grab a good year? Find a boyfriend? Get married?
Thinking about boyfriends, it brought a bad taste in your mouth and you put down your glass of unfinished champagne, wrapping your arms around yourself to shiver in discomfort.
"Now the countdown will begin!" Yuta's voice echoed through your ears as you watched, pressing your lips into a tight line.
Your eyes watched as the timer went down, coming closer to where the clock will strike twelve o'clock to indicate it was January first, the official new year. Voices of the people around you excitedly counted down as the timer struck zero and a loud bang appeared, scaring you half to death.
Confetti flew everywhere and got in your hair as you noticed couples all sharing a good luck kiss for the new year.
It made you sick and you took a step back to walk away from all the face sucking but ended up bumping into somebody, a yelp flying out of your lips as you heard liquid splatter on the floor. You quickly turned around, a light blush painting your cheeks in embarrassment.
"O-oh, I'm so sorry-"
"No, no, it's fine," the voice of a male interrupted your apology, a slight rasp in it.
"I wasn't looking where I was going."
"Oh! I even got your shirt dirty," You gasped as you noticed the large red stain on his clean white dress shirt. "I am terribly sorry, please, allow me to-"
"No, really, you're fine," he tried to laugh but the rasp in his voice made it sound like a choke. "I tend to do this a lot."
"Are you sure? I mean, it was my fault-"
"I mean, if you really want to make it up... I think I can think of something you could do." His eyes flickered to the couples around him still kissing.
You seemed to get the idea and your eyes widened, your cheeks flushing a bright red. You didn't know what to do since a part of you was still attached to your ex-boyfriend of three years but then again, it was a new year and you had to start fresh. This was the perfect opportunity for you to begin your new year and if you were lucky, with this stranger who was actually trying to chat you up and kiss you, he could be the new boyfriend in your life.
You realized that you weren't going to get any younger. And moping around for a guy who clearly did you bad wasn't going to help either.
Offering a smile towards the masked stranger, you started tiptoeing and leaned in without realizing because apparently the guy is freaking tall and the male leaned in as well. Soon, you felt a warm pressure press against your plump lips and it send a spark down your spine, the two pulling away to gaze at one another for a brief moment. But the separation was quick as the two of you came together once more, pressing your lips against each other more fiercely and with more passion, your lips moving in sync as if they were made for each other. One of his hands snuck around and wrapped itself around the your back as your arms wrapped around his waist.
He was incredibly warm and you didn't know what it was but this stranger actually brought comfort to you.
"Now for all the couples out there stealing a kiss," Yuta's voice echoed around as the couples pulled away. "Let's start the new year fresh with a new face! Everyone, please take your masks off to reveal your identity!"
Your heart raced as the two of you gazed at each other, nervous about his identity. But slowly and carefully, the both of you peeled off your masks and you looked up at his naked face, both eyes widening in surprise.
"Jo... Johnny?"
"Y/N..."
And suddenly, you felt sick again as the memories of that Christmas party flashed before your eye. Johnny, your boyfriend of three years swearing he had no more feelings for his ex-girlfriend who was also attending the party, the two having a blast, you leaving for the bathroom, and coming back to see him and his ex-girlfriend sharing a kiss under the mistletoe. It broke you into two and you never left the house for five days till your friend forced you to attend Yuta's stupid masquerade.
Now, you were facing one of your biggest fears, again.
"Y/N, please, wait-" He started to reach out towards you but you only threw your mask at him, catching him by surprise. When he looked up again, he lost you in the sea of people, his dark eyes desperately darting from person's face to face. When he did find you once more, he found you exiting out from the room, his body moving without him realizing.
"Wait, Y/N!"
He fought himself out of the crowd as he shoved and pushed, eventually throwing himself out of the party to look around in a fury, his heart racing in his chest.
"Y/N?! Y/N! Where are you?!" He cried out as he threw his top hat off, running his fingers through his brown locks.
"Y/N!"
He turned towards the exit of the hotel and ran out, looking around as he panted, his breath clearly visible from the cold. His eyes darted from place to place before he noticed you about to enter a taxi, his long legs making it's way over to where you are to grab your arm and stop you from leaving.
The familiar brown orbs of yours that he loves so much looked in his direction, the look of hurt flashing across your eyes making his chest squeeze painfully.
"Y/N, please don't go. Let's talk this out-"
"There's nothing to talk about," you forced out, coming out as a sob. "Let go of me."
"Please, Y/N, I-I need to talk to you."
"I don't want to talk to you, please let me go." You said as tears started to fall making his heart split into two. "P-please... my taxi driver is waiting."
Still holding onto your arm tightly, he pulled you away from the door and closed the door shut making you cry out in response. He leaned in towards the open window and offered an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, we wouldn't be needing a taxi right now. Thank you," he said as the man gave him the look and an encouraging fist bump before driving away. Johnny watched it 'till it disappeared and his attention was finally brought back to you when you wrench yourself free from his grip.
"What do you think you're doing?!" You almost screamed as the tears continued to fall. "That was my ride home!"
"I'll take you home," he offered, taking a step towards you but you only took another step back. "Please, Y/N, let me explain about what happened-"
"I don't want to hear it! I want you to stay away from me, Seo Youngho, and I mean it! I don't ever want to see you again!"
"Y/N, don't say that," he pleaded as he took another step towards you but you took another one back as well. "Y/N-"
"Don't," you strangled out, swallowing thickly to hold your trembling hands up to his face. "please, just-just go-"
"I love you," he cut you off. "so much-"
"No, you don't," you shook your head as your curls bounced around and your tears streamed down your face.
"But I do," he argued, taking another step towards you as you kept moving back, holding your hands up. "Y/N, please-"
"Johnny," you said, the name sounding almost poisonous in your mouth. "Please, I don't think I can do this... just please leave, I just-I need to-I need to go home and I really don't have time for you right now..." you turned around to find your friend so she can drive you home but when you were about to walk away, you felt the familiar warm grip around your arm again. "Johnny-" You tried to snap at him again but when you felt the arms of the man you loved so much wrap around you, the shout never came out but rather than a strangled gasp.
"Please," he sobbed into your back making you tense and your eyes widen. "please... please just listen to me... please."
Listening to the man cry into your shoulder, you knew that you should listen to him... you knew that he was hurt, too. This man never cried in front of you before- he was one of the strongest guys you knew and you've known him for a long, long time and you've never seen him shed a tear. But... why was he crying now? Was he really this hurt as well?
Biting down on your quivering bottom lip, you took in a deep breath and stared down at your feet. "Okay... I'll listen."
Pulling away from you, he wiped the tears away from his wet eyes and sniffled, looking at you who was staring at him with a huge frown on your face.
"Y/N," he started, swallowing thickly. "you know I love you... so much... I-I didn't mean to-we, I-it-"
"Just," you raised your hand up to his face to stop his sputtering. "just tell me... do you love her?"
"No!" Johnny shook his head, his locks jumping around with the motions. "I love you. Nobody else but you. She and I are history, Y/N. It just happened-we were under the mistletoe, she was drunk, and she asked me to kiss her one last time and I only meant it to be on her cheek but she moved her head at that moment and that was when you walked back in and saw us- I swear on everything I have, it wasn't supposed to go like that and I don't love anybody else in the world but you." He reached forward to grab your trembling hands in his.
"Please, believe me. You know I would never do anything like that to you." He stared into your eyes, trying to show you that he was serious and sincere.
When you noticed how serious he was, you started to cry again making him become alert, his arms flying everywhere.
"What-why are you crying?! Was it-was it something I said?"
"Y-You idiot!" you sobbed, your entire figure shaking as you hit his shoulder in fury.
"I was... I was so hurt! I was so hurt... I couldn't breath... I didn't eat... I couldn't sleep and I didn't take a shower for days! I was home all day, thinking about you and how much my heart hurt..." you furiously tried to wipe the hot tears away as Johnny watched. "I thought you didn't want me anymore... I thought you were living a happy life with that girl... I thought you were so happy... and I thought you hated me-!"
Reaching forward to grab you, he smashed his lips against yours to kiss the pain and misunderstanding away, holding you close and dear as if he didn't want to let go of you, again.
"Don't ever," he said in-between kisses. "think I would ever hate you." He pressed his lips against yours tightly, holding you even closer to the point that your body was flushed against his body. "I love you," he said against your lips, gazing down at your eyes that he loved so much.
"I... I love you, too." you pulled away to bury your face against his chest. "I love you so much."
Holding the woman he kept most dear to against his chest tightly, Johnny couldn't think of a better way to spend the new year with.
Pairings: Yoon Jeonghan + Reader (with mentions of Hong Jisoo & EXOâs Kai // Kim Jongin)
Word Count: 1.1k
Genre: fluff & a teeny weeny bit of angst
Synopsis: Being stood up by your date, Jeonghan realizes and comes to the rescue. ''Yeah, I don't think so either but I'm off in ten if you want someone to share this with.''
Notes: another revamp i guess, i'm not really satisfied with this one. oh and i made Jeonghan a waiter here so i hope you wonât hate me for it. come on, a hot and sexy waiter Hannie? why the hell not?! lol
"Hello? Jongin? Yeah, hey! I miss you!" You spoke into the phone as you walked down the street in your heels and fancy dress. "Yes, of course we're still meeting at the restaurant. I'll see you there, okay?" You paused for a moment before a wide smile appeared on your face. "I'll see you soon. Uh-huh, bye!" You finally hung up your phone call with your boyfriend as you happily made your way down the street to the restaurant where the two of you planned to meet.
You and Jongin have been somewhat an off and on thing for almost two years now but you hoped that you were going to get married.
He was very sweet to you and even though he could be really rude and sometimes never show up on dates, youâre certain that you'll probably get married to him somewhere in the near future.
Your friends all tell you to never see him again but you couldn't let someone as good as Jongin go. He was good-looking, smart, and he has somewhat a good personality. It was the best that you could find and you didn't mind if he has some flaws.
Happily walking into the restaurant where you had your first date together with him, you found yourself a table and sat down. You got comfortable and looked up to see a waiter grinning down at you, two menus in his hands.
"Seeing that you're seated at a two person table and dressed so nicely, are you waiting for someone?" His somewhat soft voice asked making a shiver run down your spine and a slight blush appear.
"E-erm yeah... My boy- my boyfriend." You stammered making him slowly nod and eye the empty seat in front of you before flashing another grin on your way.
"Kind of a dick to make you wait, huh?"
"Well..." You murmured softly, looking across the table at the empty seat. "I guess... But it doesn't really matter to me."
"Whatever floats your boat. I'll leave these menus right here and I'll come back soon to take your order, alright?"
"Uh, sure thing. I'll order once he comes, okay?"
Nodding at you, he placed the menus down right in front of you before walking away to go wait other tables leaving you pondering on your seat.
He kind of did have a point...
Walking up to the table where you were, the brown-haired waiter noticed it's been a little past ten minutes and you were still alone.
"Can I take your order?" He asked making you look up from your phone and offered a small smile. "No...uh, I'm still waiting. Thanks though," You waved him off making him nod and eye you for a while before walking away.
Leaving you by yourself once more
"Hey Jeonghan, could you please take these to table six," Jisoo, the head chef, asked as the waiter completely ignored him and stare at something in the distance making the head chef furrow his brows in confusion.
"Hannie?" He said a bit louder making him jolt and turn towards the chef as he grabbed the two plates from the window in a hurry.
"Uh, yeah! Table six- alright,"
"What were you staring at?"
"H-huh?" He stammered slightly, raising his brows at him before relaxing once more. "Uh, just watching a customer to see if she wants to order or something..." He said before walking away to give the dished to table six, eyeing you all the way there.
Once he gave the couple their dinner, he turned towards your table to go grab your order but you noticed him and waved him off, offering a soft smile.
He was hesitant at first but decided to listen as he went back to the back to look at the large clock hanging right above the window, noticing it's been almost thirty minutes since you arrived.
Tapping your fingers on the table, you leaned against one of your palms as you eyed the large clock that was ticking away.
It's been an hour and he still wasn't there... he wouldn't even answer his phone and you probably called him eight times and sent at least twenty texts.
Just where was he? If he didn't want to have dinner with you, why bother asking and making you come all the way there to wait? Or if he was going to be late, he could have at least called you and tell you that he'll be late... this was ridiculous.
But you still had hope, for some reason. You didn't want to accept the fact that he stood you up and believed that he was late.
Noticing how the same brown-haired waiter was walking your way, you flashed a smile and waved him off to tell him that he'll be here soon and he didn't had to come to your aid, yet.
It made him frown but he turned away and left by yourself once more.
"Just where are you... Jongin?"
It's been officially an hour and forty-five minutes since you arrived to the restaurant and since youâve been sitting there. Almost everyone who came after you left and there were many couples around you drinking wine and laughing and having a blast. It made your stomach turn painfully and you felt like you wanted to throw up.
âWhy am I trying to believe that he was going to come?â You thought.
Feeling your eyes burn with tears, you felt the familiar lump that was caught in your throat showing that youâre going to break down soon.
âHow could I be so foolish? My friends were right, Jongin wasn't for me.â
Staring down at your hands that were right in front of you, you were surprised when you saw a wine bottle and two wine glasses placed in front of you. You immediately looked up and realized that it was that same brown-haired waiter that was putting the things on the table and it made you swallow thickly and narrow your gaze.
"Oh, no thank you..." You denied in a shaky voice. "I-I don't think he's coming."
Letting out a hoarse laugh, the waiter offered a soft smile. "Yeah, I don't think so either but I'm off in ten if you want someone to share this with."
Synopsis: Is it possible to fall in love with a cell phone stranger who might have stolen your phone?
Note: Â I went out of my comfort zone and wrote a long ass fic.
"I know it's here but where is it? Where? Where?!" Â You asked nobody in particular as you dug in your drawer, groaning in agony as you noticed it wasn't there. You stood up and went over to your purse, dumping everything on your bed as you checked it once more, noticing that everything else but your phone came out of it. "Where is it?!"
"Y/N, where's the last place you've seen it?"
"IâI don't know! I know it was in my pocket when we came home . . . at least, I think it was."
"You think?" Â Y/FN's repeated, you whipped your head, throwing your friend a look.
"I don't know! I'm sure it's somewhere here, it's have to be here." You tackled back as you started to go around the whole house again, searching for your phone where you possibly could have left it.
As you went into your bathroom to go look in your make-up bag, Y/FN went through her bag as she noticed she was getting a call. Her eyes widen when she looked at the caller ID.
"Uh, Y/N?"
"Did you find it?" You asked as you popped your head out of your bathroom, your eyes wide and twinkling in excitement. Y/FN shook her head and you frowned, walking on over to her.
"Y/FN, why did I have to lose my phone? I just got a cute guy's number today! Geez, when I finally thought I was going to get a boyfriend, karma comes and takes my phone away!" You threw your hands in the air as you groaned, Y/FN looking at you in amusement "Y/N, catch."
"Eâeh?" You asked in confusion as Y/FN threw her phone towards you who caught the phone, looking at the light blue phone to see it light up and vibrate in your hands. You tilted your head to squint and look at the caller ID, your eyes widening when you realized who it was. "Mâmy phone! IâIt's calling you!"
"Answer it, Y/N!"
"Râright!" You exclaimed as you fumbled to get the phone in your grip but accidentally slapped it in the air, the phone falling to the floor to slide under your bed. You cursed and screamed in distress, diving under your bed to retrieve your friend's phone. When the vibration and soft melody stopped you screamed again, shouting no over and over again.
When you found the phone you picked it up, looking at the screen to frown. You stared at it for a moment, about to scream again but stopped when the screen lit up again, your caller ID popping up again. You cleared your throat and prepared to scream at the stranger whoever has your phone, pressing the green button to answer. "Hello?"
"Hello? Heeeeeelloooo? Excuse me? Is anybody thereâI've been calling for a good 5 minutes!" You blinked in confusion as you listened to the person talk real fast and such on the other line. Was this a guy?
"Is anybody there?"
"OâOh, hello? I'm here," You said after finally snapping out of your thoughts. You pressed the phone against your ear and you heard a sigh of relief coming from the other line.
"Finally, I was calling for almost 5 minutes now. How long does it take to answer the damn phone?" Â You blushed a bit as the voice sort of sounded a bit attractiveâwho was this guy? You got a glimpse of Y/FN mouthing, "Who is it?" couple of times but you ignored her, clearing your throat.
"Who's this?" He finally asked after a while of silence. And that was when you snapped.
"Who's this? Who's this? WHO THE HELL IS THIS? Â You stole my phone, didn't you you little thief!" You felt enraged as you heard the guy laugh from the other line, your face turning red in fury. "You sound like a bucket full of sunshine."
"Jerk! Give me back my phone!"
"I would if I could."
"You damn thief!"
"Now, now, what thief would steal somebody's phone and call back to see if the original owner could pick it back up?" Â You blushed in embarrassment as you shook your head, hissing into the phone. "Where are you? Let me meet youâI need my phone." You demanded, the line being silent and shuffling being heard.
You waited a couple of seconds to find out that Y/FN snatched the phone out of your hands, the latter clicking the speaker button and handing it back to you. You threw your friend a look and sighed, waiting for the guy to answer.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm getting dressed," Â You and your friend exchanged looks as your eyes widen, both of your cheeks growing a light pink.
"Whâwhat . . . wait, hold on a moment." You pinched the bridge of your nose.
"Hmm?"
"How'd you even open my phone? My passwordâ"
"C.A.R.A.T" Â The guy from the other line spelled out, interrupting you as your jaw dropped, eyes widening. You stared into the phone in amazement, wondering how he got that.
"How'd youâ"
"Obviously it's carat. You have a diamond tattoo on your right wrist, it's on your wallpaper. And you were wearing a shirt with diamonds on it."
"I told you, you shouldn't put such an obvious password!" Your friend scolded you as you scowled at her, waving your hand in the air in front of her.
"I need my phone back, please, when can we meet?"
"How do you know I'm not some creeper?" Â He asked in amusement, your cheeks flushing a deep crimson.
"Wâwell . . . IâIâ"
The other line chuckled. "I'm just kidding. We can meet when I'm in town againâwhich is in a week."
"Week? I can't wait a week!" You shouted in distress, your whole face scrunching up.
"Problem? " He responded making you growl.
"I won't snoop through your stuff if you're worried about that. I'll see you in a week Miss . . .?"
"Y/N,"
"Y/N. I'm Lee Seokmin and I have to go. Bye," The line went silent as he hung up.
Slip into the diamond life oh! Yeah I know I'm only 17, I only got a few dollarsâ
Seokmin slapped his hand on top of his drawer as he felt around the surface, scowling into the darkness as he tried looking for his phone that was ringing. He found the source of where that annoying ring came from and picked it, flipping the phone up to cringe over the brightness.
"Hello?"
"Oh good, you didn't throw my phone away!" Â The other line squeaked happily making Seokmin blink twice. He looked at his alarm clocked and groaned, falling onto the mattress as his eyes burned a bit making him see bright flashes of light everywhere.
"Why the hell are you waking me up? And what the heck is wrong with your ringtone? They are so annoying," Seokmin screeched a bit into the phone. He covered his eyes with his arms as he sighed, waiting for the reply of the owner of this phone he held in his hands.
"It's almost 3PM!"
"For you it might be but it's almost 4AM here and I have work!" Seokmin hissed into the phone, scowling into the darkness again.
"..Oh."
"Yeah, oh." He huffed, hearing nothing but silence from the other line.
"You still there?" Â You whispered from the other line, a small smile crawling up to his lips.
"Yeah . . . I'm still here."
"What are you doing?" You asked softly, a deep chuckle escaping his lips.
"Just thinking."
"About what?"
"A lot of things . . . mostly you." He murmured, the sleep getting to the best of him. You sputtered from the other line, Seokmin knowing you were blushing.
"Sâstop lying!"
"Mmm," He hummed, his eyelids closed shut as he listened to your breathing. The line was silent for a moment and Seokmin tried blinking his sleep away, missing your voice already.
"Don't go," He mumbled huskily, a sigh coming from the other line.
"I'm still here,"
"Good." He said, his whole body slowly going limp. Your soft breathing from the other line helped him fall asleep. The last thing he heard was, "Good night, Sockmin." Â Before his whole mind went blank.
You fumbled to get your pants on as you were getting ready to go see the guy who took your phone last week, your heartbeat increasing it's pace every time you thought of him. How did you manage to fall for him when you barely knew him? Sure, you fell for his voice because it sounds super attractive and super sexy when he's sleepy but what if it's some guy that was 50 something or worse?
You shook all the bad thoughts away from your mind as you squeaked, Y/FN's phone ringing due to the text it received. You jumped towards the phone as you fell to the ground, your pants pulling you down along with it.
You groaned and stood back up, grabbing the phone to look at the text that has came from the phone. "See you in a few, babe!" You growled in annoyance as you started to furious punch in letters, pressing send to toss the phone onto your bed and get up to pull your pants up.
Rightâyou were definitely not in love with this guy.
Seokmin chuckled as he read the text that came right after his, an amused smirk on his lips. "DON'T CALL ME BABE, YOU DAMN PRICK."
The man grabbed his keys and phones, putting them all in his pocket as he headed out with his luggage. Today was the day he was going back and meeting this Y/N chick whom he was guessing was a real cutie due to the way she acted and talked.
He scoffed to himself as he tried convincing himself he was not in love with you. Sure, you're funny, cute, and hot but you're loud, a bit mean, and annoying.
Seokmin shook his head in denial, a grin present on his lips.
He knows he's in love.
You drummed your fingers against the table in the cafe as you waited for Seokmin to come and hand your phone back. In truth, you were more excited to meet him. But you're also a bit nervous. What if he was some mean-ugly guy that could possibly want something bad from you in return? What if he was some pedophile? Bad ideas swirled inside your head as you tried shaking them away once more, failing to do so.
"Noooo!" You yelled in distress, earning a few looks from people around you.
"Geez, you are some weirdo."
You jumped as you turned around, coming face to face with the man called Lee Seokminâknowing it was him because he was the only one who called you weirdo. Your face grew red as you looked at him from top to bottom, your heartbeat increasing once again. Why was he so hot?
"Sup?" He said casually as he sat down in front of you, some bag in his hands which you noticed. You cocked an eyebrow at him and cleared your throat, regaining your composure.
"Nânothing . . . what is that?" You asked as you pointed at the bag in his hands. Seokmin looked down and laughed sheepish, looking up once again.
"Oh, it's nothing." He said as he waved his hands in the air, you eyed him weirdly.
"Anyways . . . can I have my phone back?"
"Oh, sure." Seokmin said as he reached into the bag, taking out a white phone. He gave it to you and you squealed in happiness, opening it and turning it around to find water pouring out of it. Your eyes widened in shock as you stared at your wet phone in horror.
"Wâwater?"
"I accidently washed your phone in the washer with my pants." Seokmin grinned sheepish, rubbing the back of his head. He looked at you to see you staring right at your phone then look so angry in a split second, his hands reaching up to guard his face once he saw you lift your hand up.
"But I got you a new phone!" He yelled, holding his hands up in the air. You stopped mid-way, cocking an eyebrow at his direction. "What?"
"I got you a new phone."
"You did?"
"Here," Seokmin said as he dug inside the bag again, sliding the box towards you who's eyes widen once more. This phone was way better than your old one.
"Sorry about getting your phone wet and broken, hope this one's okay." He said as he waited for you to respond, his brown orbs keeping it's contact with your shocked face.
The next thing he knew was that you were up and hugging him.
"Thank you so much, Seokmin!" You squealed in joy as you gave him a gentle squeeze, backing away to stare at it in awe. He smiled at you and nodded, rubbing the back of his head in a bashful manner. "Anytime."
"Really. And thank you for coming all this way to tell me and give me this phone. And for not throwing my phone away . . . I really appreciate it." You smiled softly as you leaned in to give him a quick shy peck on the lips, Seokmin's eyes widening at the sight. He stared at you for a moment before a smirk spread across his lips, you were too distracted to notice.
"I'll buy you 100 more phones if you give me 100 more kisses." You looked up in surprise, not even knowing he was going to say that.
Your response came without thinking. "..Deal."
And the next thing you knew was making-out with Lee Seokmin in the cafe.

Synopsis: Studying (teasing) session with a sleepy Doyoung.
Note: This is just a revamp of an old fic that I wrote back in 2016. I almost barfed when I proofread this, honestly.
âCome on, you can do this itâs not that hard. â you told yourself.
Youâve been studying for three hours because of your history exam next Wednesday. Usually, memorizing wasnât hard for you, if you read it over enough times you could retain the information. Sadly, this time it was different. Doyoung was all you could think about.
He was laying on your bed, reading over his notes. You were sitting on your desk chair, spinning it slightly as you sneaked glances at him. He was laying on his stomach, legs spread out in front of him. His pastel purple shirt rose up to his belly button, revealing the lower half of his stomach. His soft skin looked pale under the light, making his tummy look adorable. His eyebrows were furrowed as he focused. He looked so beautiful.
You cleared your throat, trying to focus on your notes. âBecause of the hostility between settlers and native Americans...â you began reading out loud, âsettlement of the North West had been tentative until the end of the war of 1812.â
Doyoung
You thought. NO. FOCUS. You have to focus.
âFarmers alone did not developed the West, they needed sawmills for lumber,â you continued, but your mind subconsciously wandered to Doyoung, and his cute tummy, and his smile and NO. Focus. âAnd flower mill for grain.â
Doyoung
âThey needed store keepers to provide the goods, they couldnât provide for themselves.â
Doyoung Â
âThis lead to the separation of the states,â
Doyoung Â
His hands traveled up his shirt, revealing more of his skin as he softly touched his chest. He yawned, letting his eyes close slightly.
âAnd then the states.. the um.. the states.. they umm.. did that thing..â
âOh really?â You heard Doyoung speak with closed eyes, âThe states did that thing? Sounds super interesting.â Your cheeks turned pink. Goddamnit it.
âI need to pee.â You say bluntly. You could not be in the same room as him right now. You saw Doyoung raise an eyebrow, amused. As you were passing the bed to get to the bathroom door, Doyoung grabbed your hand, yanking you back so you landed on the bed.
Before your brain could process anything, Doyoung lazily wrapped his arms around you and you felt your heart stop. He was too tired to notice your reaction, he nuzzled his head against yours, making his soft black hair tickle your neck.
âI donât want to study anymore,â he whined. âCan we take a break?â You couldnât speak. âAre you not answering me now?â He asked, âby the way, you were staring at me. I assume you donât want to keep studying either. Canât we lay here for a bit? I want to hold you.â
You could feel your heart pounding against your chest and your cheeks getting hotter by the second. âOkay,â you managed to say, âbut I really do have to pee.â
âNooo, donât leave me!â
âItâll be a second I promise.â Doyoungâs grip around you tightened. âWhatâs the password?â He asked teasingly.
â Doyoung,â you whined, âdonât make me say it.â You knew what the password was, heâs made you say it before and it was extremely embarrassing.
âSay it,â he demanded.
â Doyoungissexy!!â you said quickly. âWhat? I didnât hear you.â
âDOYOUNG IS SEXY. CAN I PLEASE GO PEE NOW??â
He started laughing uncontrollably as he let you sit up and walk towards the bathroom door.
âYouâre such a loser,â you joked. âBut Iâm your loser.â he chuckled.
Synopsis:Â Waking up to a less savage Haechan in the morning
Note: itâs been sooo long so my writingâs kinda rusty. the ending was a bit rushed so forgive me. happy birthday to our dearest full sun, Lee Donghyuck! this fic is dedicated to you. enjoy! (p.s - don't ask me why hyuck is shirtless in this fic, i just personally think that he sleeps without a shirt on in real life so leave me alone you pervs)
A beacon of light shone through the curtains of the oval window, filtering your thin eyelids, which awoke you from your deep slumber. You blinked a few times, in an attempt to help your eyes adjust to the blaring light. Your mind went blank for a couple of seconds before turning back to its normal state.
You felt an arm drape over your waist as you looked over your shoulder to see whom it belonged to and instantly saw the beautiful figure of your boyfriend asleep on your shared bed. You carefully faced him and placed your hand onto his tanned chest, tracing random patterns on it which caused him to stir from his sleep. Legs tangled underneath the white sheets, the sight alone made your insides tingle. You stared at his sleeping form. His sun-kissed skin. The boy's chestnut hair is ruffled from his night's sleep. His supple, pink lips slightly ajar, as he snored lightly.
'When did I ever get so lucky?' you thought to yourself. Among millions of people around the world, this boy managed to snag your heart. For some, it wasn't an everyday occurrence where you wake up next to your loved one. As for you, since luck is on your side, you wouldn't dare pass up the opportunity to sneak in your boyfriend's dorm and hang out with him until sunrise. Moments like these are rare. No sarcastic eye rolls and remarks from the aforementioned boy beside you. Just this; the room completely silent aside from the light snores of your boyfriend. The both of you basking in the warmth of sunlight that cut across your surroundings.
As your mind wanders, you unconsciously reached up and ran your hands through his soft locks. Resulting his nose to scrunch up a bit as he sighed deeply and mumbled a few incoherent words. Donghyuck is either a heavy sleeper or a light sleeper, honestly, there's no in between. You went up to level your face with his; gawking at his stunning visuals, noticing the shape of the Ursa Minor formed by his moles on his face and neck.
You gave him a soft peck on the cheeks, nose, forehead and every nook and cranny of his angelic face. Meanwhile, Donghyuck, being disrupted from his dreamland by your sudden display of affection, is now hyperaware of your presence. He grumbled and effortlessly pushed you away from him, but failed because of his lack of strength since he had just woken up. 'Well, atleast he tried.' Â You chuckled at his poor attempt to brush you off.
"Y/N-ah, stop." he whined, Â but that little threat of his didn't stop you from peppering him with kisses. "Are you rejecting my kisses now huh? Lee. Donghyuck."
"Seriously though. Your breath stinks!" he exclaimed in a playful manner.
You were taken aback by his complaint momentarily, but you recovered swiftly because it was partially true plus we're talking about Lee Donghyuck.
Still feeling a bit flustered, blood rushing all the way to your cheeks causing it to turn red. You lay back on the bed, your back facing him and hid underneath the blankets to prevent yourself from further embarrassment.
'Cute.' Donghyuck smiled to himself before shifting his body to face you. He lowered the covers that was engulfing your entire frame and hugged you from behind, spooning you. You felt his hot breath fanning over your exposed skin, goosebumps flooded your neck as he whispered into your ear, "I'm just kidding Y/N, you know that I love you, right? Now let's go back to sleep."
From the week of barely getting any sleep, you already expected this to happen. As his head lolled onto your neck, his eyelids finally slipping closed; you smiled. The rest of him slowly leaned into you, his body going limp. You settled yourself in his arms and intertwined your hands with his. You lay together on the soft linens of his bed, enjoying the sun on your skin and the way it was almost a spotlight for the two of you.
You tried to keep your eyes open. But it was so hard, and you were so comfortable.
"I know and I love you too, Hyuck. Happy birthday, my sunshine."
Soon, your eyes began to drift closed. You were blissfully unaware of what was going on around you. Then it was just you, Donghyuck and your dreams
This is all going to be so sad so Iâm going to need you to be strong. Thank you for making me happy for the past few years. I remember when I first met you. It was so long ago, it all seems like it happened to a TV show. All I can remember are scenes.
Thank you for every smile, every laugh you showed us. I am grateful for everything. You were my world, my inspiration. Most books, comics, songs, movies, all stories in fact, have endings. Just like our story, just like our journey it does have an ending.
I am eternally grateful for all the amazing experiences being a kpop fan allowed me, to all the amazing people I met from all over the world
Thank you for making me feel less alone. Thank you for making me happy, thank you for being an inspiration. I will still be active on twitter, sharing my thoughts and any news, but maybe iâll stop talking about you.
If you release any music again, maybe if I have time, I will still find it and share it. I will still be here, but not like before. This is not the end. This is something far more exciting than that. I am going into the realm of the unknown, to my reality.
I will leave you behind. I dont know if we can find our way back. Iâm sorry if this hurts. I will always love you. I will always miss you. Although itâs heartbreaking to see this, I forced myself, I earned enough courage for me to be able to say what I want to say.
I cannot possibly begin to thank you for your work, your words, your contribution to the world and my life. The way youâve made my life better, captures thoughts i couldnât articulate, helped me through the pain, celebrated every victory.
Iâm not crying because iâm sad, iâm crying because iâm happy i found you. Iâm happy youâve been able to touch so many lives thru ur songs. You have picked me up on bad days when no one else could and when i was at my absolute worst, all i needed were your words, your songs.
For some you have changed their life, for others you were a source of hope, an escape, for others, your words were just wordsâŚnothing more. As for me, you have a small but permanent place in my heart, bias. you are appreciated and loved more than you know.
Thank you for the memories thank you for being my escape to reality. I love you and iâll miss you, though we all must move on.
sincerely, your beloved fangirlÂ
PS: Remember, you will always be a part of my beautiful story.Â
