In this house we love and respect
Kellam
now I see him thanks he looks a lot like Willard Smith
I made this and showed it to a friend. She said I should post it, so here we are.
This is EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED
âWomen are women regardless of sex And men are men in the same respects You can be both or a mix of the two Or you can be neither if thatâs what suits you But people are people whatever their parts Because what really matters is inside our heartsâ

@badasserywomen Sheâd like one ticket to âMeet All Your Pretty Ladiesâ please. (aka I saw the OC post and this ship of the damned is sinking as is so might as well be a dork)
Robes are stupid. My sorcerer dresses like Petyr Baelish.
To expand: if you are a mage, dress like a noble. Do not dress like a wizard. Pointy conical hat and sky-blue robes is medieval semaphore for âkill first and with extreme prejudice.â Tailored black silk over cloth-of-gold and studded with rubies says âHarmless, but valuable; ransom if possible or kill last.âÂ
If you dress like a noble, theyâre not going to pay attention as you take a turn or two to back away from the melee and prepare yourself. The ruse is only broken when you reveal yourself, at which point 8d6 fire damage is screaming toward them at Mach Fuck anyway, so no big.
counterpoint: if you donât get to dress like someone ran a magical thrift shop through a rototiller and frankensteined the pieces back together whatâs the god-damned point of being a wizard
The sartorial differences between wizards and sorcerers are on display, I think.
That makes perfect sense, really, since sorcerers donât generally get a choice about gaining spellcasting abilities and might not want to advertise them 24/7 whereas wizards put a lot of effort into becoming wizards and didnât spend years in Wizard Grad School just to be low-key about it.
Counter counter point: Nobles can afford the best trainers in combat, therefore are dangerous. Dress like a sad, beaten down peasant who seems unassuming and then chain lightning the entire enemy party as they go after the actual sad beaten down peasant who you made dress like a wizard.Â
iâve said it once and iâll say it again. queer people need to trust other queer people. Â
donât question someone elseâs labels. TRUST that theyâve done that already. if they ask you for advice, fine, but DO NOT go in swinging. donât go up to a straight trans man and ask why he doesnât identify as a lesbian. donât talk to non-binary people and tell them that their identity is a sham if they donât transition. donât ask bi people when theyâre going to pick a side. donât assume that someone who is ace is just repulsed by their own internalized homophobia.
like just⌠have respect for your fellow lgbtq+ folks because there are so few of us in an OCEAN of hetero-cisnormativity. we donât have to chip away at each other until only the Cardinal Few remain. there is no reason that we canât have space for the people who question, the people who change their minds, the people who dip a toe in and pull back out. i am HERE for those people, just as much as i am HERE for the people who can write a dissertation on their attraction and knew from the moment they were born that they were Hella Gay. Â
there is nothing simple about self-discovery and frankly, iâm not here on this earth long enough to scrutinize my fellow marginalized peoples. thereâs no reason to do that shit. it does not, in fact, hurt queer people to be wholly accepting of any wayward identity. non-dysphoric? demi-gray-ace as hell? donât care, as long as youâre fighting on my side, because iâm fighting on yours.
inclusivity all the way, yo.
What I say: Country music blows
What I mean:Â Modern country music, especially songs sung by modern male country artists, revolves around similar themes of toxic masculinity and nationalism. The recurrent lyrics referencing guns, trucks, beer and girls in short shorts are uncreative and not entertaining in the least. However, older country artists and folk rock bands such as Creedence Clearwater Revival and Johnny Cash have stronger, more diverse themes and often carry an overt anti-war message. I hate the fact that what was once an interesting and powerful genre of music has now been claimed by gun-toting conservative bearded dudes, and it hurts my heart to say I hate country music when there are so many country artists that I very much enjoy, but cannot state the fact that I enjoy country music without being associated with the aforementioned group.Â
THANK YOU

âCrazy Dionâ Diamond at one of his sit-ins as a teenager in Arlington, VA. June 10, 1960
via reddit
All of those people around him are demons
hey guys! hereâs some fun things i learned from this article about Dion Diamond:
he did these sit-ins by himself. like idk about you, but i always thought of sit-ins as organized by groups, what kind of bravery does it take, man
he didnât tell anyone about it, like he was no glory-seeker about this. his parents didnât even know until reporters started calling them up like âhey, did you know your son is in jail?
when someone called the cops heâd skedaddle out the back door although he was sent to prison multiple times
the last time he got arrested was in Baton Rouge, and the cops were so sick of him that they told inmates theyâd put in a good word for anyone who gave Diamond a hard time. (the inmates didnât take the bait.)
heâs still alive!
hark, a hero of our times!
Dion Diamond is 76 years old. Why do people act like this was a lifetime ago?Â
type âi amâ in the tags and whatever comes up first is your new mandatory kin
so, you care a lot. you care too much. you care so much that it really hurts sometimes. but the thing is: itâs important and good to care! donât feel bad about caring, donât stop caring all together. maybe itâs just time to redirect your caring. youâre caring about the wrong things. you care so much about whether or not people like you, you care so much about trivial things that have little to no significance on the rest of your life. redirect those feelings and begin to care about you; your breathing, your posture. care about loving others and passing no judgement. the second you redirect your caring towards yourself and what you can do to make other people feel good is when you stop caring about being liked, you stop caring about how you are viewed.Â
This is SUCH an important lesson to learn!

Want to hear a hot take?
Despite what modern core nihilism will tell you, the accidental nature and inherent meaninglessness of life as a biological phenomenon does not mean that our efforts are pointless but instead allows us all to determine what we personally desire out of life. It means we are free to pursue what our hearts desire, and so enables each of us to find our own unique meaning.
Also love is real.
And the majority of people in the world are inherently good-natured.
Ok but as a dysphoric trans man the whole âyou need dysphoria to be transâ actually baffles me because even tho Iâve always has crippling dysphoria, it didnât actually help me figure out my gender at all. I usually dismissed my dysphoria as âinternalized misogynyâ or just not being feminine enough, which actually just caused me worse dysphoria.
You know what made me figure out that Iâm trans though? Gender euphoria. The minute I got called a âsirâ is the moment that I realized, âshit this feels right.â And at that point I realized that I could no longer deny the fact that Iâm not a woman and that I couldnât keep living as one.
Hereâs a hot take: maybe being trans isnât so much about how uncomfortable you can be in your AGAB, but rather how much more comfortable you can be.
