Last week I said I was going to test my RIR instead of staying safely at the lower end.

This week I finally did.

Maybe I’ll regret it.

Maybe I won’t.

That’s the interesting part.

There comes a point where training stops being about following the plan perfectly and starts becoming an experiment.

You change one variable.

You pay attention.

You wait.

Then you learn something.

Friday: Chest. Saturday: Back. Sunday: Triceps/Biceps.

Every time I remember that I still need to film a set, there’s a little voice telling me: no tripod, this is going to look terrible.

And every single time, it’s exactly that awkward angle that ends up showing me the most progress.

Funny how the footage I almost didn’t record usually becomes the footage I’m happiest to have.

I can’t wait for the day when my curls are limited by the muscle instead of whatever my arm has been complaining about for the last few months.
