you ever wish someone had paused and thought about how this would feel from your perspective? same.

it’s really hard to be told your care doesn’t land sincere when you’ve been asking how someone is doing for days, weeks, months, consistently (+ always be met with ‘im good, im fine, im okay) then the time they tell you they’re hurting is at the tail end of an argument. they hide the wound until the fight, then treat your concern as performative or hollow.
