I got out of control. Eating was difficult. Breathing was difficult. Life was even harder.

Be somebody nobody thought you could be.

Memories warm you up from the inside. But they also tear you apart.

For a tough kid I had a bad habit of getting attached to people.

I walk around the school hallways and look at the people. I look at the teachers and wonder why they’re here. If they like their jobs. Or us. And I wonder how smart they were when they were fifteen. Not in a mean way. In a curious way. It’s like looking at all the students and wondering who’s had their heart broken that day, and how they are able to cope with having three quizzes and a book report due on top of that. Or wondering who did the heart breaking. And wondering why.

A guy and a girl can be just friends, but at one point or another, they will fall for each other…Maybe temporarily, maybe at the wrong time, maybe too late, or maybe forever

It’s the friends you can call up at 4 a.m. that matter.
