Detach yourself from the trappings of Maya (dream world) by withdrawing your attention to the things that karmically bind you to this artificial reality of the matrix. Do not seek to enhance your separate self-story through divisiveness, materialism, consumerism, external validation, misinformation, dogmatic thinking, polarized worldviews, social media, harmful addictions, automatic behaviours, status games, dominating others or rigid social roles in the hopes of one day achieving personal happiness, fulfilment and long lasting security.

A once mighty country respected worldwide

I’ve seen history try to whitewash him.

His father was General Alexandre Dumas (père). He served in Napoleon’s army and rescued Napoleon during the Italian campaign, earning a promise that he would receive a hero’s welcome and that Napoleon would take care of his wife and young son, Alexandre Dumas (fils).

Napoleon never kept that promise.

The painting that was supposed to depict General Dumas after that battle instead portrayed a white man. Even his statue in France wasn’t restored to public recognition until many years later.

As the saying often attributed to Napoleon goes, “History is a set of lies agreed upon.”
