the thing about showgirl is that, i don’t think it was meant to be this big grand masterpiece. she was just happy, in love, and wanted to have some fun. the lyrics on showgirl are corny and outright bad some of the time. but when you have one bad album and 11 amazing ones… that doesn’t make you a bad writer…?
