And that’s before the crash, mental illness is only amplified with heightened situations AND with pregnancy because of increased hormones. Of course, this led to her splitting and saying awful things at Jackie after she felt betrayed (not saying she was right to in this situation) by Jackie for yelling at her. Not to mention, her repeated changing of getting mad at someone, like Lottie, to switching to do a kind act out of guilt and paranoia. This instability highlights why Shauna wanted to stay in the wilderness, to me, in here, she was allowed to be selfish and hate without extreme social consequences because she wasn’t treated for her BPD.
