TheCrystal Cliffs are located in a mountain biome; a cold place to live. On the street, you will see barely anyone without their cloaks, unless they’re foreigners. These cloaks come in all colors and sizes, and they are perfect for the biome they live in. Not only are they warm, but they also can be quite fashionable. They make the streets of the Crystal Cliffs that much more colorful and lively.

However, some colors of cloaks are off-limits for the regular citizens to use.

The white cloaks are reserved for the students; pupils from all over the world who come to the Crystal Cliffs to study magic. You rarely see them in person, as they usually lock themselves in, dedicated to the studies of their chosen discipline. You will never see a white cloak on their own, either, as the often go out in groups, usuallly to cause some magical mischief.

When they graduate, they are gifted cyan cloaks; the cloaks of certified wizards. They are usually worn on special occasions, as most of the previous students wouldn’t want to wear them in everyday life. You don’t need to be a citizen of the Crystal Cliffs to be given a cyan cloak upon completion of your studies.

 There are few wizards who are gifted a navy blue cloak; the wearers of these cloaks are the Grand Wizard’s council, a select group of ten to twelve wizards who are considered the smartest and wisest. They help the Grand Wizard with ruling their state and magical questions. They wear their cloaks at all times to show their status and be given the respect they deserve.

And, of course, the purple cloak of the Grand Wizard, the ruler of the Crystal Cliffs. Passed down to a successor, either hand-picked or internally selected from within the council. They are also gifted the Amethyst Staff and are expected to wear the cloak and hold the staff at all times in public. Losing either is seen as a big disgrace.
