So I’m kinda in need of money… again…
(not gonna go into detail unless someone asks because it’s depressing af, but basically I can’t get a job because I have no car and my mom is the only one in the house working because my dad has been very very sick since last year.)
I feel bad just asking people to donate to my Ko-Fi so maybe there’ll be something on my Redbubble someone would want that way technically you’re paying for something from me instead of just giving money to me?
I got some pun stuff, some pride stuff, some photography stuff (not shown in this post), and I’m working on more stuff. I have 90 “designs” up as of me posting this. (Most are pride variations for each flag colour combo. I’d say it’s more like 22ish designs because 5 of them have all the colour variations).

I have seen a lot of discourse, again, about minors being in NSFW spaces and even some adults defending minors and that's not okay. A friend and I have done some research and have collected the above materials to show minors (those who are under the age of 18) that it is illegal for a minor to write, read, or interact with any sort of NSFW work.
When you do so you are putting adults at risk because adults will have to answer for your actions. You are putting adults at risk of legal trouble. When an adult blocks you it is not because they are trying to be mean, it's because they are trying to protect themselves and in existence you from anything bad happening. Nobody wants to end up in jail over a fucking fictional story. It's not fair to adults that you're putting them at such risk because you want to read about your favorite characters having sex.
An author has a responsibility to tag their stories, put warnings on them, and at times disclaimers for the stories so that the reader can make an informed decision before reading. If a story is marked as explicit or the author says they do not want anyone under the age of 18 to read their content then don't read it.
Everyone is allowed to have boundaries. Smut authors are trying to create safe boundaries so they do not do anything that would get them into trouble. If a person - whether or not an they write smut expresses that they don't want children or teens to follow them then that needs to be respected.
It is not anyone responsibility to provide minors with blogs that are safe for them to consume. If a minor can find NSFW blogs then they can find blogs that are safe for them.
Parents - and I know there are parents on here - need to take it upon themselves to educate their children on internet safety and not going into spaces that are not for them. They need to be more proactive in knowing what their children are doing on the internet. There are too many unsafe places and unsafe people on the internet for children and teens to be on it without parent knowledge.
Minors: you need to think about what you're doing and how you're putting people in danger. It is not worth it just so you can read material that's meant for adults. Stop putting people at risk. Stop not listening. Stop following blogs that are under the age of 18. You are in the wrong, not the adults blocking you.
Well this is timely after just finding two more minors following me and blocking them.
Seriously. STOP.

HOMELESS, TYPE ONE DIABETIC, NO INSULIN
my name is katie, i am from the indianola/des moines area of iowa (not exactly but close enough). when i turned 18, i immediately got kicked out, and in a long story short, told to figure things out on my own since i was an adult. i have been homeless since January of last year. i am type one diabetic, and being diabetic- my medicine is super fucking expensive. being homeless, ive reached low blood sugars ive never reached before, and extreme highs with possible ketoacidosis. roughly, my medicine costs anywhere from 200-300, depending on if i get both humalog and lantus, test strips, etc. i have been looking for a job basically since i was first homeless. it is hard however because i dont have working service on my phone, so no number or texting, and i also dont have a pernament address, or even nice clothes to present myself in a way that is appealing to employers. this city has a strict no homeless policy and you can get fined heavily if caught sleeping out in public, there are many homeless shelters around me, but every single one has a 1 to 2 year waiting list. A question people always ask is, how are you on tumblr? well luckily our local mcdonalds has free wifi (a few other places as well), and the library and mcdonalds both have charging stations. everytime i get any remote amount of money it goes directly towards my insulins and test strips, which i need to them to live. any money that is saved up goes towards that, therefore i am not able to save for a place to stay, or presentable clothing, or to turn on my phone.
LONG STORY SHORT
i am in desperate need of insulin and test strips, with this crisis going on my insulin is extremely expensive. for one of my insulins it is a 500 fee. I NEED THIS INSULIN TO SURVIVE, PLEASE REBLOG OR DONATE IF POSSIBLE. i have a compromised immune system already, and with high blood sugars it gets easier to become sick. please boost asap so i can get insulin and stop my skin from doing this!! I was laying on my blanket in my tent and i have never had this reaction before from high blood sugars. My skin is naturally very clear. If it gets worse, i am going to need to go to the hospital, i am in desperate need for insulin. my blood sugar is dangerously high and causing me to have reactions that i was unaware of.
In total, I need to reach 700 dollars for my insulin/test strips/etc

Update: my skin is still having blood bursts (i honestly dont know what to call it, but it is blood cells that have bursted and caused the red marks everywhere). It is still hard to breathe, not as bad, but still concerning. I am very dehydrated, water can still go down but makes me nauseous. My blood sugar currently is 501, and it has gotten higher due to my keytones, and the fact I have to walk to get around and exercise with keytones-- makes my blood sugar higher. I am still in need of donations so I can at least get some insulin to last for a while. I have a job interview in a month and a half-ish, after this virus crap, and i am hoping to be able to get enough insulin to survive until then. Hi guys I recently had a run in with a pedophile who was posting child pornography, please don’t call the police there’s not a whole lot they can do in situations of tracking unless it’s in your home state! And they don’t have a department that deals with blogs.
Instead call 1-800-843-5678 or fill out a form for cybertipline.com , they reach out within the same day and deal with these assholes all the time. They will contact you if they need more assistance or if they’ve resolved it! The police department redirected me to the hotline and will do so in every situation unless it’s local. Stay safe!

I’m really sorry that I’m just now getting to this T_T and that I haven’t posted anything new in SO LONG.
I AM better though! I talked to my doctor and we changed my prescription and I got a new therapist so things are looking up mental health wise!

This ask is SO OLD and I’m SO SORRY that I’ve been so inactive on this blog. I was inactive on Tumblr for a few months I think actually and just started getting back into it. My current obsession is Red Dead so I have no ideas coming up for Avengers (Plus I saw Endgame and I’m still processing).
I’m weird that way in that I hop from obsession to obsession, game to game, movie to movie. I just so happen to not be on Avengers right now but at some point in life I hope I’ll hop back to it.
