my inner child is crying and begging for someone to notice and care while my inner teen is screaming and angry at the world for what happened to her

who else mourning the person they could've been if they were treated kindly as a child

sorry i didn’t respond for 17 hours i was hyperfixating on something that did not need that much attention

i am holding my loneliness and she is a teenage girl with puffy eyes, and i love her more than i have ever loved anyone

i’m a horrible person. no one loves me and no one ever will. it’s about time i realized that instead of pretending i have any redeemable qualities.

But who am I when I'm not performing for all those who are outside of my head? Who am I without my mask? Who am I without the disease in my brain? I wish I could invite them in to hear the screaming inside my head. Listen carefully and you might find me in all that madness, grasping for sanity.
