something i strongly believe in is that when you are dealing with someone in a position of immediate material power over you you can and should abandon all interpersonal codes of conduct you may have to the wind. it is not only permissible but often vital to lie to, cheat, and betray the trust of policemen, teachers, parents, bosses, landlords and psychiatrists. you can demand interpersonal honesty or fealty to your position, but not both.

The hospital called a couple days ago like "hey we still have your organ do you want it?" Apparently it was just in the back of one of their fridges. And now it's in a mason jar on my coffee table. Lol
