GALAXA!!!

Got a char design course and i'm tryna already apply some of the stuff i saw on the first few videos, what y'all think? Oh yeah there's a buncha tiny redesigns on these too, and two characters i haven't shown in here Mosaic (The sharp crystal guy) he's a bard And Sifra, she's an alien from the moon.

Meet Elyza and Alzael! Galaxa's parents. Elyza is a freelancer artist that does mostly graphic design and such, she's a very sweet person that loves her family, just your average mom <3 While Alzael is a trainer for one of Aurolga's sports that i still haven't name, it's basically football and hockey with extra steps, will explain but yeah, he's the trainer of the Bullbeetles team (also placeholder). I'll get deeper into this bit later but yeah. Will also start listing elements: Elyza - Light | Color Life Alzael - Dark | Energy Life Galaxa - Light Dark | Echo

Galaxa redesign, felt like she had too many colours so i changed it to make her more blue, works really well andi kept the other main colours she had too like the yellow and purple... <3

Meet Sumbra, Aurolga's main villain, i'll talk more about each character in the future and their role in the story.

This is Goldy, i just drew her, i found a cute moth in my bathroom so i drew her, she is now official a character in Aurolga, she hates not being clean but often gets dirty as fuck cuz of how wacky she is, she will often hurt herself on accident and she can't fly cuz her wing is all messed up </3

Roghuue, Roghu for short @bonniegem's sona, a fun trans woman that loves cooking and eating, she owns her own bakery at a snowy place called Willowbrook, which is where she met Vissca for the first time, then they started making out or something not sure yet abt taht part. She also has a lil' plushie called Jelly the bee, she is very squishable (also important detail)

This is Vissca, my Sona!!! She's a dumb lil slimy bean that doesn't know anything half of the time, she is Galaxa's adopted sis. She loves bugs (important fact)

Aurolga will be an Action Rpg game with Twin-Stick shooter aspects where you control a girl called Galaxa, who just finished school and wants to go explore the world with here sister Vissca to learn more about herself and see new things. Not long before her journey starts her plans suddenly change due to... i ain't gonna spoiler it yet :) This game will be mostly focuses on it's characters and the world, so expect a lot from the character designs, and please criticize everything i post in this blog so i can imporve! The core thing for the gameplay is that your weapons are all instruments and that you attack with music by shooting notes and even doing quick rhythm test section sections. It'll be divided by episodes, there will be 20 of them + some playable extras that will talk more about the lifes of side npcs and even the past of Aurolga. They're caled episodes cuz i want them to be fairly short, so the game doesnt take 3000 hours to complete, and i decided to split them by 20 cuz that's the same amount of elements this world has. Speaking of elements, you'll see them alot, elements are what the souls of the creatures in Aurolga are made of, each living creature has 2 sections of elements, Primary/Heart(Goes up to 2) which are basically the primary elements that represet a specific species, and Secondary/Soul (Goes up to 18 but nobody has more than 6 in Aurolga so don't worry, and also it cannot repeat the elements from the primary section) which basically means a specific skill set and personality that the creature has. Galaxa has the elements: Heart: Light, Dark (Cuz her parents are from the light and dark species) | Soul: Echo (Cuz she loves music and all of her magic is centered around music) I'll explain more as the time goes on too.

Took me a while but i figured out that this is the style that will 100% be perfect for the game, i'll be drawing each and every single room in the game, no tiles nor anything.
