Okay, confession time, I actually hit this like 2 days ago, but I was too busy with stuff irl to actually get this done - so here it is! Anyways, I just want to give, like, the biggest fucking thank you to each and every single person that follows me, I honestly never expected to get this far, or for Albus to take off at all — but he didn’t, and it couldn’t have happen with out the help from all of you guys! I’m oh so very thankful, and I just, I’m terrible at expressing myself or ideas, so I’ll never be able to properly portray just how much this means to me, but believe me when I say it does mean a lot to me. Like, so much. But, any who - as a Roleplayer, I’m v obvious Biased towards those I RP with, or those I stalk from afar and admire - so here’s a little list of those Roleplayer’s I admire greatly, whether we’ve RP'ed or not! (In no particular order).

August runs a hand through his soaked hair, tries to wipe the rainwater away from his eyes. He chuckles humbly and nods in appreciation.

     Something the girl always enjoyed, it started when she was kid,      was watching her mother and her brother in the kitchen. Alice      couldn’t cook to save her life (except pancakes, she was amazing      at them). Back in the day it sometimes felt like August inherited      all the good qualities from their parents, but never ever did Alice      feel this common jealousy, she even admired her brother for it.      She really always admired him, because he was her brother and      not anyone else’s. 

           ❝ Alright, let’s go then. I’M craving now too, and               I hid the last of them in the back of the fridge. ❞

He made his way to the patio door, but paused to turn back when he reached for the door handle. He held up ong finger in playful-warning and gave her a serious look.

August chuckled, rubbed the back of his neck, and nodded off in the direction she’d pointed.

     The student’s unease doesn’t go beyond his notice; &       his features soften as August talks. It’s not an uncommon       occurrence, & it’s certainly one of the more complicated       spells to master. 

           “ Well there’s no shame in it. The Patronus Charm              is a difficult spell, it gives a number of accomplished              witches & wizards a run for their money. “

                        A small wave of his hand, stepping around his desk                         & looking thoughtful, eyes momentarily catching the                         ceiling before meeting the other’s.

August stalled a moment, chewing the inside of his lip.  His memory? He had a memory --- and it was happy. 

It was the happiest he could remember, before all the fear, before all the running away. { His dad coming home after work with an armful of singing flowers, or enchanted trinkets pocketed from Hogwarts to share with the family. } It was August’s favourite part of the day - he used to wait for hours by the front door, waiting for him to come home.

     ❝ Just writing and traveling, I think after finishing school, I spent             two days with my family and directly headed to Eastern Europe,                       and tried to take in as much as possible. Figures                              two years aren’t enough to really take in                                                       all of it. ❞

Giving August a smile, Molly leaned back a bit. It felt like it was forever ago when she last saw him, though you couldn’t really say two years were ‘forever’.Back in the day she promised everyone she would send letters, pictures and those muggle post cards, but being busy there and not speaking the language made it sometimes hard to keep the promises.  

Nostalgia swept over August in a sudden wave, and the drink he nursed only aided in this sense of longing for the time he spent surrounded by friends. A reunion was in order, perhaps. He smiled a little, to hear of Molly’s adventures. Traveling, to August, was something he always wished he’d done, but never actually wanted to do. He’d thought about it, and occasionally took a train somewhere for a weekend, but when it came to really getting out into the world --- August often wimped out.

           ❝ That’s incredible, ❞ he said,  ❝ Can’t say I’ve been                doin’ so much adventure-having, but I’ve been pretty                good. I’m working a lot - gardening and landscaping                mostly. ❞

           ❝ You look like death warmed over.                Have you been to the nurses wing? ❞

August sighs, knowing it’s useless trying.

These were thoughts for another day, though, and so August pushed them from his mind.
