calling my insurance so they aren't mean 2 me this week but describing bowel incontinence over the phone reminded me of when i called them trying to downplay the severity of it so they don't call an ambulance to my location against my will ($$$$$) so i said "i pooped my pants :(" when asked to describe symptoms

and then the nurse took a long pause before she said "....intentionally?"

I said "no!" Because I did not do that, and I would not want to call my health insurance telling them I did that if I did, in theory.

she then clarified she meant if i was aware it was happening and i didnt know how to answer that without;

A. ringing medical red flags and alarm bells

B. sounding like a total weirdo

it's the difference between

"this person was incontinent when ill" being noted in your file

and

"THIS PERSON JUST POOPED THEIR PANTS AND CALLED US TO TELL US ABOUT IT FOR FUN I GUESS????" being noted . Moral of the story is fuck the healthcare system

I got in a car accident today when my dad was driving us home from the con i was at. He was also dressed as hastune miku (vocaloid) and gritty (flyers mascot) the cop pulled us over and went "is that a hatsune miku cosplay?" and my dad had to explain his miku gritty fusion abomination. Then we had to explain Miku to the other guy who was in the accident.

It was miserable but we got chilis after. My dad's still wearing his miku tie in the chilis

My solution to the Pokemon card scalping is that if you prove you've hyperfixated on a Pokemon enough to have either drawn or written fanfic about it more than once you should get any cards of that Pokemon mailed to you for free. This is a foolproof solution and I will not be accepting constructive criticism

i dont know anythign about heated rivalry but you know how there was a trend in soulmate AUs in fanfics where there was a goose who would chase your soulmate with a knife until you found each other? that but replace the goose with gritty (NHL flyers mascot) because he supports gay rights and is the only mascot legally allowed to beat the shit out of the players and fans.

It’s fascinating hearing how other people think. My dad says he has to think of a full sentence word for word before he says it whereas I don’t know what I’m gonna say until I’ve already said it.
