Heard something new in a song I've listened to 200 times

"you're the writer, you control how the story goes" no not really. i wrote the first sentence and then my characters said "WE WILL TAKE IT FROM HERE" and promptly swerved into an electrical fence.

I wrote a scene and the characters said "nah, that's dumb" and did whatever the hell they liked.

don't want to write I want to think very hard about my fic until it emerges from my head fully formed like athena

I think in response to Twitter, Tumblr should make it so that you can't open any other apps on your phone until you've seen at least 600 posts for the day.
