The worst punishment for my narc mom is that she can’t hide the fact that her daughter doesn’t speak to her lmfao. I don’t even have to do or say anything to anyone. The fact that her daughter is never at any events makes it so hard for her to keep up the facade. It also doesn’t help that her main identity in life is being a stahm so it’s not like she can lean into any other accomplishments. It’s gotten to the point where she tries to avoid social events cause she doesn’t want to get questions about her daughter. I know it eat her up inside cause all they care about is social recognition. A narc will neglect their kids and choose the validation of strangers over family. Well then go ask your friends to drive you to your doctors appointment then.
Gen z gets a lot of hate for being chronically online and for having social media personalities but have you guys ever encountered chronically online millennials??? Lmao

my beta reader just asked me “why do you always write forbidden romance?”
because i’ve only ever been with men i wasn’t allowed to be with.
unfortunately it started too young.
we don’t need to unpack that here.
but it does mean i’m extremely comfortable writing uncomfortable relationship dynamics. familiarity is a hell of a writing prompt.
ironically, the one time i was with someone who was appropriate, safe, and allowed, i got traumatized anyway.
so what does that say about me?
no idea. but it does explain my writing.
"do it scared" this "do it tired" that. well no one ever talks about the fucking insurmountable "do it with greasy hair"
WHY I WRITE FICTION
i think i finally understand why fiction is where my writing feels the most honest.
i love psychology. i love theories, systems, archetypes, patterns. i love sitting with ideas about power, desire, narcissism, control, attachment, the ways people repeat themselves without realizing it. i could talk forever about the inner mechanics of the human psyche, about how trauma loops, how power disguises itself as love, how people give themselves away slowly, not all at once. i love thinking about these things, studying them, turning them over in my mind. but whenever i try to write them directly, whenever i try to explain them, something dies on the page.
because the truth is, the way i understand these things isn’t intellectual first. it’s lived. i didn’t learn about abuse, control, or self-erasure from a checklist or a theory. i learned it by being inside it. and translating that into advice has always felt wrong to me, like flattening something dimensional into something instructional. it turns experience into information. it tells instead of letting you feel.
fiction lets me do what essays never can.
it lets me create a character who doesn’t yet have the language for what’s happening to her. it lets you sit inside her curiosity before it becomes clarity, inside her desire before it becomes choice, inside the moment where something feels off but not off enough to leave. it lets power dynamics unfold slowly, naturally, without being labeled. you don’t have to be told what’s wrong, you recognize it. your body understands before your mind does. and that kind of knowing sticks in a way no article ever could.
i don’t want to write my life story. i don’t want to turn my pain into testimony or content. i don’t want to stand above the reader and explain what something means. i want to build worlds and people that feel real enough that you step into them and come out changed, not because you were instructed, but because you experienced something alongside them. because stories teach through proximity. they don’t convince, they linger.
that’s why fiction feels truer to me than nonfiction ever has. not because it’s less real, but because it’s real in a way that bypasses defenses. it doesn’t ask you to agree. it asks you to notice. and noticing is where everything actually begins.

~ AVATAR AU TRILOGY FIC ~
Neteyam | Lo’ak | Spider
So… I was supposed to be writing my thesis this weekend. Instead, I procrastinated so hard that I accidentally outlined an Avatar AU trilogy.
Part of this is me coping, honestly. We’re waiting four years for the next movie, and I’m not ready to leave Pandora yet. This is my way of staying there a little longer, of keeping the world alive in my head while we wait.
Each part centers around one of the Sully boys, but the order is very much on purpose:
Defiant — Lo’ak
Sky Boy — Spider
Heir — Neteyam
This is an AU where the sky people never returned the way they did in canon.
Jake still raised his sons in anticipation of a war that never came. They were prepared for survival, discipline, sacrifice and instead grew up in a world that asked them to learn how to live. War doesn’t automatically mean peace.
And yes, Spider is Na’vi in this universe. He’s born to two RDA avatars who didn’t plan on staying, weren’t careful, and left after the war. No human body, no in-between existence. He’s adopted by the Sullys for real, which also means no Kiri/Spider romance here, that’s his sister.
Each story has its own OC and its own emotional focus, but all three are connected. The timelines overlap. Scenes echo across books. Things that feel small in one story matter a lot more in another.
Lo’ak’s story comes first because he’s the catalyst. He’s impulsive, instinctive, and emotionally driven, and a lot of what follows in this AU happens because of choices he makes before anyone is ready for them.
Spider comes second because he’s always been standing in the in-between. He notices what others overlook, and his story begins to fill in the gaps left behind by Lo’ak’s, not to solve them yet, but to show that there’s more underneath.
And Neteyam comes last, not because he’s less important, but because his story changes the meaning of everything that came before it.
Heir only works once you’ve already lived with the consequences of his choices, his silence, and the version of him everyone else believes in.
His story isn’t the beginning. It’s the reveal.
There’s brother rivalry and brother love, the kind that’s quiet and unresolved rather than explosive.
Theres also a love triangle, it’s not the dramatic, fast-burning kind. It stretches across years, shaped by bad timing, quiet loyalty, and decisions that seemed right at the time.
There are OCs who don’t exist just to orbit the boys, but who complicate them, unsettle them, and expose the cracks they’ve learned to hide.
It’s not really about war. It’s about what happens without it. How masculinity looks when survival isn’t the only purpose.
How brothers grow apart when they’re not forced together by danger.
How desire, restraint, shame, tenderness, and power show up in subtler ways.
There are deeper themes running underneath all of it , my favorite topic to write about - coming of age, attachment, identity, intimacy will all be central in this world I’m creating.
I’m writing this slowly, alongside real life, and mostly using this space to brain-dump AU thoughts, headcanons, and process rambling while we all wait for the next chapter of the story James Cameron is eventually going to give us.
Anyway.
This is what happens when you procrastinate with worldbuilding and miss Pandora a little too much.
More eventually 🩵
