🤢 - an ick: the sound of people licking their teeth 😭 I know it happens accidently sometimes, but it still grosses me out

🗨 - an expression: I can't really think of anything. Maybe those book/video titles that say "X Ys you must try/read/watch before you die" like. I know there's not enough time, there's no need to remind me. It isn't fun or cute lol

🤬 - okay, so I have this friend (and I love her, if she has a child, I'm gonna be their godparent) who's a really picky eater and super fussy about choosing places to eat out at. I invited her and some 10 other friends to this restaurant for my birthday. I didn't know she was fussy at the time.

I love this place, my dad had been going there ever since it openned when he was 15! In like 1969 or 1970! And I grew up going there. It's a traditional-ish Japanese restaurant in a pretty old building and what we generally call a "dirty feet" restaurant, meaning the mantainance of the place isn't really up to standard. But the food is great! Rio is full of these places and you'll always find great food in them.

My friend does go to places like this, just not Japanese places like this. She decided her plate was dirty and she needed to complain -- loudly and unkindly -- about it to a waitress who's been working there at least since I was 5yo. I felt so much shame 😖 Like, girl, I know you drink beer from unwashed cans at the beach! Your immune system will take care of it, don't worry! Uuurgh

Hellooo! My weekend was pretty calm, I helped my mom and aunts plan their trip and watched volleyball :) How was yours?

I'm not watching it! In part bc it's in the US and the whole FIFA corruption etc etc but also because they made it wayyy worse this time. There's too many countries and almost all the group stage games suck yxjsgxksgx BUT I am watching the VNL and it's been a lot of fun!
