The team had just returned from the VNL the night before. Exhausted from playing all week and the jet lag, Atsumu barely remembers getting home or falling asleep. He does, however, remember waking up.

Groggy and feeling like his body is fused with his bed, he sees a ghost at the end of the bed. Kiyoomi stands by his feet looking over him, head band pulling his hair back, face mask moistening his skin, and he’s holding something up.

“Which Italian lube do you want?”

Atsumu can’t even muster a response before Kiyoomi launches into reading the backs of the travel sizes lube packets. “This is warm French lavender, it enhances a partners sensations with a subtitle warming gel and a soft lavender aroma.”

“This is.. well this is called ‘take a trip’ I don’t think it’s scented but-“ Atsumu didn’t listen to anything else he just groaned and threw his face back into the pillow. It was too fucking early for this.

Mentions of death, no one dies

The Sakusa graveyard has been around for centuries, each grave evenly space and well groomed- but one look would show only 1 grave is added every 25 years or so.

A worn diary in the abandoned church holds stories of every Sakusa to have lived. A "family" cursed with loneliness, always finding adventure but always alone.

Until one day the diary entries stop and the last two stones are placed together: M. Kiyoomi and M. Atsumu.
