PETA Is A Joke
I’m sorry, but this is so fucking stupid. PETA is claiming that this is what a sheep looks like after it has been sheared. In case you were wondering, this is what a sheep ACTUALLY looks like after it has been sheared:
And that isn’t some “best case” scenario, believe me, I live in a place that has more sheep than people, and all sheared sheep look like that. It does not hurt the animal at all, aside from perhaps the odd slip with the shears resulting in a minor graze. In fact, shearing sheep is necessary for their wellbeing, because domesticated sheep do not shed their wool like a non domesticated sheep would, which can to them looking like this:
This is Shrek, yes, that is actually his name, notice how you can’t see his legs or face? That’s not good. He is a sheep who escaped his field and went wandering for six years, resulting in a sixty pound fleece. This is actually dangerous because it can cause overheating and if they get on their back the weight stops them from getting up again, they can die from this. PETA really cares about money and attention more than animals.
So yeah, fuck PETA, buy wool…and while you’re at it buy some goddamn honey because the bees need the help.
Also, I have a cousin who is vegan and against any type of animal cruelty. She’s always going on about how “they’re hurting the cows for milk.” That’s not true! A cow can actually get very sick if you do not milk it.
ok not sure what’s going on with the shearing thing, ive seen sheep sheared and they survive just fine. But hurting cows for milk yes that happens. not in every place but in a lot. Research it.

Not today no. Or tomorrow probably. I have a 500$ vet bill and 5000$ bill for my car. And I need a new horse. Need in terms of working my way to where I want to be. And Im currently breaking even with my money without taking into account the money I know owe my parents for these bills. Im digging myself a very large hole. Because I want to be on the other side of the world and I cant afford to fly.

Wether and act of terror or one lone man taking hostages the support most aussies reacted with was a true testament to our nature. This is interesting! I have never really considered this and it makes me happy because in alot of ways it totally devalues other women. Its funny that the word virgin is used outside of a religious context because its based on religion, alot like marriage I guess. But unlike marriage that we are trying to allow to move forward (same sex marriage) and almost out of a religious context ( loss of religious ceremonies) the concept of virginity is still tied heavily to religion and is looked upon as being a gift and as respecting yourself. The fact is the the word virgin can be used as an insult to those who 'respect' theor bodies and the word slut is used to insult those who 'use' theirs. And yet their is hardly a difference between using your body to feel good through sexual activities and using it as a symbol of the respect you have for yourself. Especially as sex is quite an intimate notion and to enjoy it we have to respect our bodies anyway! Our bodies are our own to use and we so often do things to make them feel good. Eating, sleeping, bathing. Sex is no different, it is just more powerful in that way. Wether or not you want to save yourself for someone special is completely your own choice. But everyone is different and sex should no longer be used as an insult. The world has to accept that people want different things in life and labels dont change that. This is just a thought. Anyone is welcome to make a rebuttal, my views change all the time and I love hearing what other people think?
