Does Atomx provide White-labels?
Tips for Networks -> Whitelabels
Yes, with Atomx you will be able to get a white-labeled version of the user interface. The Whitelabel will give your advertisers and publishers the impression as if you own all available inventory and all offers. Which is kind of true, isn’t it? You increase your brand recognition by tailoring certain elements of the Atomx Ad Server to your brand — including branded email notifications. No technical development or capital expenditure budget needed.
In order to get a whitelabel:
Send logos (high resolution images) of your company brand to [email protected] . Please use either jpg or png. A logo will be needed for the header (top left position → max. width x height: 250x50px) Another company logo will be placed at the login page → max. width x height: 400x400px
Create a subdomain (e.g. cp.company.com or ads.company.net) and point it to CNAME cp.atomx.com.
Optionally provide a custom CSS to further modify your control panel
Please take note that Atomx whitelabels do not cover changes of domain names in publisher tags. A publisher tag such as … script data-cfasync=false src=“s.ato.mx/p.js#id=1&size=160×600” … cannot be modified into … script data-cfasync=false src=“s.name-of-whitelabel.com/p.js#id=1&size=160×600″
What’s a good way to increase the traffic volume I buy?
Tips for Advertisers -> Campaign settings
Most effective ways:
increase your max. dCPM bid in order to become the highest bidder.
run your campaign with all possible creative sizes. Most popular creative sizes for desktop PC: 300x250, 728x90, 160x600, full size pops (in Atomx called ‘Any Size’). For mobile web traffic: 300x250 and 320x50.
Excluding Selling Networks, Publishers, Sites or Domains will result in less traffic. Try to be open minded. Don’t set up too many restrictions.
If your campaign already received a decent amount of traffic, make use of our campaign debug tool. You find it on the left sidebar within each campaign. This tool helps you finding the bottle necks in your settings.
Why is my campaign not getting any traffic?
Tips for Advertisers -> Campaign settings
There are a number of possibilities that may prevent your campaign from receiving traffic. Getting no traffic at all most likely means, you will have to look for a setting that blocks all traffic, e.g.:
campaign state: inactive
maximum dcpm at $0.00
no creative connected to campaign
no budget set
campaign end date in past
setting up ‘includes’ instead of ‘excludes’ in campaign targeting menus
advertiser state: inactive
See if your max. daily budget is not accidentally preventing your campaign from buying traffic. Ensure that the campaign start and end dates are set up correctly.
Check the campaign targeting:
Are there impressions available based on your campaign setup? Take a look at Atomx’s current traffic for top countries here -> https://www.atomx.com/discover
Sometimes a combination of settings might prevent your campaign from buying, e.g. chosing the target ‘Android OS’ but only including the device ‘PC’.
For desktop PC traffic set your campaign max. dcpm to $0.10+ to have a fair chance of winning at least some bids. Below $0.10 there will be hardly any traffic available. For pop traffic you may have to bid at least $0.50+ in Tier 2 countries, and $1.00+ in Tier 1 countries. Mobile traffic usually starts selling impressions at $0.25+.

Low amount of impressions in yesterday‘s stats
2016-08-03 | Looking at you stats sheet for yesterday you might see an unusual low amount of sold impressions in your Atomx stats. Reason: Our request logging pipeline had failures and started dropping requests. Our system is back up to normal. We have put measures in place to prevent this from happening in the future.
Any chance to get my selling network earnings on NET-15?
Tips for Publishers -> Billing -> Payment terms By default Atomx pays its selling networks based on NET-60. But, you can get your earnings based on Net- 45, Net- 30, or Net-15 by accepting payment reductions. Please have a look at the following chart:
Why do statistics differ between Atomx and mine?
Tips for Publishers -> Reporting
Differences between stats are common. Gaps between 1 and 5% are acceptable. 10% would already be a matter of concern. If you see significant discrepancies comparing Atomx reports with your own ad server reports, The reason will most likely be:
Bot traffic: Using a fraud filter, Atomx blocks bot traffic, e.g. Google index bots, search engine bots, fake user agents or browsers, traffic from suspicious IPs. Our anti-fraud algorithms automatically detect and block suspicious traffic before it reaches the bidding stage. Sell side statistics show this traffic as ‘Blocked Impressions’.
Atomx Fraud Filter explained: We do pre-bid and post-bid calculations based on data of incoming traffic. This fraud filtering happens on IP level, on user level and on browser level.
Different time zones: If your statistics go by a time zone other than Atomx (UTC, EST, PST or CET ), the two sets of reports will be aggregating different time periods for the same displayed date.
Are there any fees for Selling Networks to be paid to Atomx?
Tips for Networks -> Pricing
No, there is no payment required from Selling Network. The Atomx selling fees are deducted transparently by means of bid reduction, which means you don't need to calculate the numbers yourself. No need to worry about any unexpected invoices popping up at a later stage. The selling fee mentioned in our Pricing web page will be deducted from the buyside. The bid reduction applies to all impressions bought by buying networks from external selling networks in the exchange. Impressions sold within your network seat do not fall under any bid reduction but cause an ad serving fee of $0.015 per 1000 impressions.
Can I buy traffic on CPC basis?
Tips for Advertisers -> Bidding methods
For the time being Atomx only offers CPM (Cost Per Mille) and dCPM (Dynamic CPM). CPC (Cost Per Click) will be implemented as a bid strategy in 2017.
Currently advertisers can only buy traffic on impression basis. We suggest to choose dCPM bidding. The advertisers will be able to win the traffic by not exceeding the maximum bidding rate. In this case, the advertisers will only require to pay the maximum bid of the second highest bidder by only +$0.01, and not wasting the budget to get traffic.
i.e., when your maximum bid is set at $0.36 and the second highest bidder for the impression sets his maximum bid at $0.27, you will win the bid for a price of $0.27 + $0.01 = $0.28 per one thousand impressions.

How long is the waiting time for creative auditing at Atomx?
Tips for Advertisers -> Creative auditing
10 minutes to 1 hour. Let’s give it 2 hours when queues get a bit jammy. Our Auditing Team manually reviews all submitted creatives. The staff works 24/7 including weekends. 3rd party tags will be classified as ‘Mixed/Rotating Content’, images will get an appropriate category according to IAB standard. Apart from this manual auditing Atomx runs an automated Creative Checker, repeatedly scanning all creatives on the ad exchange for suspicious activities such as auto-redirects, hijacks, phishing and malware. Our goal is to ensure that any malicious creative will be caught and blocked right away.
Remarks about the category ‘Adult/Pornographic’
Tips for Advertisers and Publishers -> Categories
Atomx does not tolerate adult/pornographic content in the ad exchange, neither from the buy side nor from the sell side.
Selling networks: Publishers are not permitted to place Atomx banner tags on pages with adult or mature content.
Buying networks: Make sure your banner rotations are clean. Also to avoid any unpleasant surprises from the sell side: exclude the category ‘Uncategorized’ in the menu 'Buying Restrictions’ on your network level. This way you make sure that only traffic from audited domains will be coming your way. Our Audit is working 24/7, classifying every new domain according to IAB standard.
