Ugh, poetry is so hard. It's like, here's a strange undefinable emotion, now put it into words. And you try. Who knows if anyone has ever succeeded.

People who are not afraid to text you 40 times in a row and don’t take it personally if you haven’t replied are literally the most valuable members of our society and should be recognized as such

what’s meant for me will find me yes but I also have to meet it halfway and encourage it to happen so it does

what’s meant for me will present itself as an opportunity in no uncertain terms and I will take the steps necessary to make it happen

you will live and you will say the wrong things and make mistakes and people will love you anyways.

i made this post because i've got so many friends that think saying something wrong in a conversation is the end of the world. it isn't. you'll be okay. you don't have to be embarrassed about every little thing. you are alive and doing things and speaking to people. you will make mistakes and you will live.
