How you ask? The main connectors are Bones, Dax, Worf, and Troi. Walk with me here.

We know from the episode Trials and Tribble-ations( DS9 season 5 ep 6) that Dax and Bones had something between them. With Dax's comments about his hands implying...yk. Connecting TOS with DS9. Then we see Dax with Worf. Worf who was also with Troi for a time and cannon with her in Piccard. Connecting the DS9 polycule with TNG.

ALL THIS TO SAY.
