       Despite the feeling of confusion bubbling up in her body, Mirania couldn't just react by pushing him off of her lap. This was her boss! So, the only solution she could imagine was waking him up and leading him to his bedroom or to the nearest maid. He probably hadn't had the sleep he needed to function for the day.

The reason for the weather's erratic nature remained unknown by Mirania, however the prospect of the hot chocolate wasn't too bad.

A thoughtful look came onto the woman's features as she thought of her other two daughters and son. She had been too weak to save them, but her final daughter would live and love. She'd break free of a curse that plauged her sisters and brother, and be free like the pure white birds in the forest. Mirania would live for her siblings, and become a person of strength and beauty. No man would strip her away of the blessings she had recieved. Not by some petty arranged marriage or from her father drowning her in expectations she couldn't live up to have. The elder's throat wanted to tighten up as her heart still mourned for her children before swallowing thickly to regain her wavering composure.
