Smoke and Mirrors (Closed Starter with FontKin)
Another hole, another venue of exploration. And why not? Each time it felt like something new cropped up to engage him, keep him trying and pushing to male a difference (even if hope was thin and the time-line grim.)
Though he never expected to suddenly pop in behind someone who had been working. He’s not entirely sure of what to do yet, so he lets the vortex close behind him before he does anything else. Then, Sans listens in to Napstaton’s music, and the interesting new composition that Sans had never heard before.
His foot started tapping, and his head bobbed in the beat of the heaviest lead.
*heh… so cool.
Though that would probably be eaten up by the sheer volume of the music.
His foot taping continued along with his own headbobbing and mild humming in tune to his music, but, alas, he was interrupted. Being a robot meant that NTT had heightened senses as part of his own programming and just that little ‘So cool’ was enough to throw him off as he missed a crucial beat in his mix.
A slight twinge of mild anger surge through him as he sharply turned around and nearly shouted at the presence behind him, not really giving any thought on how this being even managed to get into his apartment in the first place or even who it was.
“Would you just shut--!!”
He paused his near rant and blinked as his angered features slowly turned into a mix of confused and pleased all at once before quickly setting on just confused. A tilt of his head to the right and a fold of his arms across his chest, the bot tapped his foot a couple times as he processed the skeleton before him.
“Sans?”
Furrowed brows showed the confusion more than anything else along with pursed lips as he drew closer to the skeleton creature. He then proceed to stop a few steps away and lean down and forward as his inspection began as programming scrolled quickly upwards within the electric blue optics of his.
“No. You’re not the lil’ skele-dude. Or.. Are you?”
Really, he couldn’t tell. It certainly looked like his fellow friend, while also looking completely different all at once. Was it the clothes? The smile? Eyes? ...Expressions? Hell, it could have even been the speech patterns. Well, whatever it was, it did make the robot a little uncomfortable.
“How did you get in here anyway, man?”
Confusion returned to mild annoyance as this next question presented itself. Honestly, how rude of this skeleton to interrupt him when he was creating the most excellent of melodies. Did he not know the importance of silence when one was creating? Obviously not.
