ALL  EYES  ON  HIM ,  HE  KNEW  IT .  Mandalorians  were  rare ,  especially  Mandalorians  wearing  parts  of  Beskar .  Expensive  &  something  everyone  seemed  to  be  after .  He  knew  it …  HUNTER  &  PREY ,  he  lived  after  that  statement .  Rifle  securely  on  his  back ,  favorite  weapon  that  he  used  whenever  Bounties  did  not  comply .  Helmeted  gaze  wandered  around  the  Cantina ,  he  yet  had  to  find  the  person  he  was  looking  for ,  but …

head  was  turned  when  woman  spoke  up .  SHE  WAS  WHO  HE  WANTED .  Facing  her ,  he  raised  a  hand ,  mentioning  that  he  did  not  want  a  drink .  He  would  not  be  able  to  drink  it  anyway  &  he  was  not  here  to  share  funny  stories  and  get  drunk  until  he  would  stumble  back  to  the  Razor  Crest .  Mandalorian  listened  to  what  she  had  to  say ,  his  head  tilting  to  the  side  slightly  at  her  words .  ❝ I  AM  NOT  LIKE  MANY . ❞  a  blunt  reply ,  ignoring  the  rest  of  what  she  said .  Hunter  leaned  against  the  counter  now ,  his  attention  on  her  &  her  alone .  She ,  thinking  about  other  bounties ,  seemed  TOO  CALM .  ❝ surrendering  will  do  you  good . ❞      

𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞, 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲,  and all of them had failed. as here she still stood, free from the empire’s grasp. after the clone wars, she had learned to live a life constantly looking over shoulder. the galaxy was a vastly different place, one that seemed so unrecognisable in comparison to that of the time of the republic.  ❛ and leaving me alone would do you good, mandalorian. ❜  she kept her gaze away from him, instead looking at the glass that came to be in front of her. digits wrapped around it, bringing it to her lips and in one swing, she takes down the drink. glass is slammed back on the surface, a wave of her hand to request another. she knew that this bounty hunter was not going be so easily dealt with, like the others had been.

Kaidan watched, trying to pay closer attention to what she was doing. He did his best to mimic the facial expressions he was seeing but he had a feeling he still wasn’t all that close. When she reached up to rearrange his eyebrows, he tried to make sure he held them exactly where she pushed. “This is more complicated than I thought it would be, I’ll be honest.” He snorted out a little laugh, even while she was still moving his face around. “As long as I get close, I’ll just add in a ‘Your sister seems displeased. What did you do this time?’ That should get the message across, yeah?”

          𝑨 𝑻𝑹𝑰𝑳𝑳 𝑹𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹𝑩𝑬𝑹𝑨𝑻𝑬𝑫 𝑰𝑵 𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑻𝑯𝑹𝑶𝑨𝑻.  The Turian equivalent of what might’ve been him clicking his tongue,  or letting out a long suffering sigh — a chastising noise to match the rest of his posture.  Gloved two-digit hands settled upon Shepard’s forearms,  grabbing the human with just enough pressure (and no more than that) to force her back into the sitting position she seemed determined to stand up from.   ❛   Keep the weight off it.   ❜   Palms hovered over her flesh,  then retracted once he was sure she wasn’t going to try and get up again.  Garrus leaned back on his haunches,  shooting a knowing,  if slightly worried,  look her way.    ❛   I know what you’re thinking,  Shepard,  but you’re not going to be able to just walk this one off.   ❜

𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐩, 𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟𝐟, 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠,  that was the mentality that had kept shepard alive all these years. get knocked down and no matter the injury, she always climbed back onto her feet and fought like hell. it was instinct, just to press one hand down on the ground and use that to get herself back up ; despite the crimson running down her leg. but before she could position her feet to stand on up, there was another hand upon her, forcing her back down into her previous sitting position, back against the wall.  

NEVER  DID  HE  STOP  LOOKING  AT  THEM ,  THE  ROOKIES  THAT  WERE  ASSIGNED  TO  THEM .  This  would  be  a  one  time  thing ,  they  were  here  to  learn ,  he  didn’t  think  that  they  would  make  it  far  in  their  (  possibly  )  short  life .  Steps  carried  him  to  the  Jedi ,  his  arms  crossed  over  his  chest  while  he  leaned  against  the  wall  she  was  standing  by .  Now ,  that  he  was  close  enough  he  opened  his  mouth  to  speak .  ❝ we  are  no  daycare  for  CHILDREN . ❞  the  comment  may  sound  harsh ,   but  it  was  what  he  believed .  They  were  an  ELITE  SQUAD ,  not  a  group  of  care  takers .  A  huff  came  from  his  lips  &  behind  the  helmet ,  he  rolled  his  eyes .  ❝ how  long  will  they  bother  us ? ❞     

𝐣𝐞𝐝𝐢 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐫, 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐥,  and her arms crossed heavily over her chest. green orbs watched those that walked by her, rookies in gear of all white ; not a splash of colour to be seen. it was not something that got to experience yet ; still so young, untainted by the harshness of war. turning her head to follow one as he walked by her, she then caught sight of her commander approaching her. 

𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐝 ; 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬,  her head was titled upwards, she was looking at something upon a high self in the communal kitchen space. she had two options to retrieving what she wanted. she could either stretch with all her might, hop that her fingers could hook around the coffee granules and get them that way, or she could climb atop the counter tops. . . not one of those options included her asking someone with a height advantage to require them for her. she decided the second option may be best, she doubted stretching even onto the tip of her toes would help.
