𝐀𝐒 𝐌𝐔𝐂𝐇 𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐋  to  coruscant  has  become a  regular  aspect  of  her  duties  of  late,  alongside  the  sort  of  bland  small  talk  and  tight,  courteous  smiles  that  accompany  any  work  to  be  done  with  the  senate,  any  discontent  is  hidden  behind  placid  visage  and  concealed  away  from  discerning  gaze.  for  that,  the  grin  that  suddenly  appears  on  pale  lips  is  not  only  an  outlier,  but  a  welcome  change.  “ah,”  hands  clasp  together  before  her, sharp  gaze  warming,  “you  must  be  master  fisto,  no?  ahsoka  tano’s  spoken   quite  highly  of  you,  indeed.” 

it’s nought but his hand ( briefly ) touching hers,  &  yet it still sent a slight shiver down her spine.   looking at him,  aayla always saw all the things that could have been.  how things could probably have been  -  in another life time.  ...  a sigh escapes her before she inched away a little. ❝ when you touch me like this [ ... ], I just have to admit that it's all coming back to me. ❞

The Tynnan pup had lurked in the background around Kit Fisto the whole afternoon since her lessons had finished. The Youngling seemed to fight a inner battle,for one she wanted to approach the Master and even took  on a few occasions some little steps towards him,only to than hasty step back again behind a corner or a pillar with her ears flicking up and down and muttering under her breath angrily at herself. In the end the light outside of the Temple had turned red, dyeing the Temples walls and corridors crimson like paint when the pup eventually did took the last steps and toddled towards the Masters side. 

She reached out with a small paw to tuck on the Jedis sleeve, first carefully and then with a frustrated huff a little harder so he would notice her only to hasty let go of his sleeve as she realized how respectless her behaviour must appear.  The girl fumbled nervously over the webbing between her fingers as always when she was deeply uncomfortable did not knew how to act or what to say.

“Master Fisto?”,the cub asked eventually, doing her very best to sound strong and older than she actually was,although there was still another sound in her voice, something small,scared and pleading that was as fragile and ready to break as the finest crystaltglass: “As you are here in the Temple, does that mean you will watch the Padawan-fights? Are you searching for a new Padawan?”

“Wherever this does,” the Doctor replied, pausing a moment to give the sonic screwdriver a little wiggle before resuming his scans. “It can pick up all sorts of energy signatures- tends to come in handy for things like this. Especially if it’s what I’m thinking it might be base on what you said.” He really hoped he was wrong, though. Perhaps it was simply something with a similar effect to a weapon he’d hoped long gone, perhaps it wasn’t.

   Anakin hated meditation. It was the one thing he wasn’t good at when it came to his training. Sometimes he found that being inside his own head wasn’t calming at all. He sat crossed legged and tried to focus and clear his mind, but it wasn’t working. 

   The padawan sighed and opened his eyes. He saw the Jedi Master sitting a few stools away. He didn’t want to interrupt him but maybe he could help. “You make it look so easy, Master Fisto.” He tells him.  

It had been a long time since anyone had called him little one -- even Han had given up calling him kid after . . . after all of it.  But . . . the point was still valid, though he didn’t feel particularly young or little anymore -- he certainly wasn’t tall, per se . . . 

And he’s not offended either; but curious, and steps closer, watching the other carefully while keeping a respectful distance. 

“I’m not that little.” He chides back in jest, but a look of mild confusion has settled across his brow; like trying to put his finger on a thought that’s just out of reach.
