Do not weep for the temples are gone. Our faith was always a home one. Your home is your temple and you are its clergy. Your breath is your prayer. Your kind acts are your offerings. Your memory is your idol and your words are libation. You are enough in whatever you do. Grandiose was never our way. The glass of water left on the kitchen counter is equal to the lavish meal set out in their name. The Theoi love every little act, as long as it is meant with good intentions.

Worshipping sea deities isn’t dumb when you don’t live near the sea. It was done historically and also you should be trying to care for the sea and sea life too. Where does your fish come from? What about indigenous communities fighting for the right to fish? They deserve rights. You’re connected to the sea, we don’t live in a vacuum. Give honours and pray to sea gods. Fight for life and indigenous groups. Say hi to Thetis, Amphitrite, Poseidon, etc already and start fighting.
