☆ Aster the Astral Fox ☆

The Palestinian red fox is native to Israel, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria. In Israel it is most common around Jerusalem and the West Bank. They can also be found around the Dead Sea basin and up into the Mount Carmel mountain range in the north. In Lebanon it is common across much of the country, from the shores of the Mediterranean sea up into the mountain ranges. The Beqaa Valley in the east of the country is a particular favorite of this subspecies.

A fairly small subspecies. Their fur is buff coloured, often with significant amounts of grey and silver hairs over the forequarters, flank and hindquarters. Darker red on the face, legs and down the back. Feet usually white or tan coloured, sometimes with a small amount of black shading down the front of the legs. Chest and belly usually dark grey or black with white on the muzzle. Fur remains fairly short even in winter months. This subspecies has long, slender legs and ears are very large and rounded at the tips. Tail long but not particularly bushy. Tail usually has a small white tip, although black tips are also common. Eyes amber in colour. 

The Palestinian red fox is strictly solitary and does not form family groups like many other red fox subspecies. Mated pairs will come together to breed and rear young in the spring, but avoid each other for the rest of the year.

Small mammals, like jerboas, make up the bulk of their diet. They also eat ground-nesting birds, reptiles, fish, insects and fruits. They can be found in most habitats, from the coast through to agricultural land, mountains and even some urban areas. Where available they tend to favour farmland and human dominated landscapes, where they can find easy food by scavenging garbage and taking livestock. They have few predators except for golden jackals. 

In both Israel and Lebanon foxes are fully protected and may not be hunted, trapped or killed for any reason. It’s also illegal to capture them and keep them alive in captivity. Despite the law some illegal persecution still goes on. Foxes are not protected in Syria and can be killed year round.

i use genders made by anti endos all the time, a little out of spite. im sure you can do the same.

One of the endo community's biggest arguments against anti-endos is that anti-endos are exclusionists. They claim that anti-endos harmfully exclude endos from their communities.

Let's start by defining exclusionist. According to google's first definition of exclusionist, an exclusionist is someone who acts "to shut out or bar someone from a place, group, or privilege".

Are anti-endos shutting out or barring endos from places or groups? Well, they certainly do not bar them from any physical places or irl groups - there are no irl system places or groups that I know of.

Online places, however, you can make an argument for. Endos are often shut out or barred from online places like discord servers or tumblr blogs. However, is being told to DNI with a tumblr blog the same as the irl exclusionism that minority groups face?

Additionally, it should be noted that endos very frequently tell anti-endos to DNI with their discord servers or tumblr blogs, so this argument falls flat in the end.

Are anti-endos shutting out or barring endos from privilege? Well, what privileges do anti-endos have? The only privilege that anti-endos have is occasionally being taken more seriously by medical professionals - and this is not a privilege that anti-endos are shutting out or barring endos from.

Excluding people from a group to keep that group safe, or specific to certain needs, has always been a good thing. Inherently, having disabled spaces for specific disabilities is a good thing. Having LGBT+ spaces for specific LGBT+ identities is a good thing. Having separate gender spaces for specific identities is a good thing! And yes, having CDD spaces separate from endo spaces is a good thing.

this is a very serious disorder that impacts so many people. we no not want people to have this disorder because it stems from abuse and trauma before you even understand who you are or even consider thinking about who you are.

it's okay to not remember the trauma because well, its trauma. and this disorder is designed to make you forget stuff like that. we were lucky enough to remember why this all happened, what caused it, etc. so yes, its okay to not remember what happened.

what's not okay, however, is spreading the idea of "endogenic systems". why? well a few reasons.

lets say someone "identifies" as an endogenic system. what if they don't have a dissociative disorder, but something similar, like psychosis. they think that their delusional attachments are alters, making them believe that they are those people/characters. this becomes a problem, because this can make their condition worse.

now what if they don't have a dissociative disorder or anything of the like? this becomes a huge problem. they start having identity issues, they have no idea who they are, who they will be, who they ever will be, and causing a downward spiral until they just can't take it anymore or get some sort of professional help.

now lets say they do have a dissociative disorder. they don't remember their trauma or even deny that they do. first off, read the 3rd paragraph again. this disability is literally designed to make you forget. but then they start spreading the idea of systems "without trauma" exist, and thus make others hurt themselves in the process (like the last two paragraphs) while meaning well. mot only does this only repeats the process, but now they cannot face their traumas, get professional help, and potentially break down communication and amnesiac barriers and heal as a whole.

this is why so many systems and people are so against the idea of endogenic systems. we do not wish hate or war. we only want to help and protect those that need it.

but if anyone has any information on reasons why endo systems DO exist and DO help people from a RELIABLE SOURCE OF INFORMATION, please send it to me, and i will read it. this will be the only time i will allow my DNI to be broken. /srs

also like just read the dsm-5 lol it literally says dissociative identity disorder is associated with trauma and it also says the full disorder can manifest at almost any age

Reminder that if you see these flags, you’re very likely talking to someone who doesn’t have a certain disability or disorder, but ‘identifies’ as having it

Some who use these flags may have said disability or disorder, but have internalised ableism that make them want it ‘milder’, or face ableist societal pressures that make them want it ‘worse’ - either way beware these flags

BID or BIID as a disorder is valid, however these terms not only are often applied to people without this disorder or associated with concepts outside of the disorder, but they misuse the trans prefix, advocate for ‘transitioning’, use of mobility aids, changing their own neurology, and claim it is ableist to be against that concept, as well as claim that disability pride month is for them because they ‘identify’ as disabled but aren’t

The community of many of these also infantilises or treats disabilities as adorable, see the tags on nosorian’s coining ‘medicalcore’ ‘sickcore’ and so on - links included in text translations
