What a Bunch of Misfits We Are

((So this announcement is looooong overdue and I apologize for that and that it’s taken me so long to write this up! Figured that now is as good a time as any since today marks the one year birthday/anniversary of this blog’s creation!

First off, I want to start off by saying that I am not abandoning this blog. I have no intentions of abandoning or closing this blog anytime soon.

With that said, I know I said that this blog would be on a 3 month hiatus and ended up being much longer than 3 months and for that I apologize. Since returning from London, I’ve just been trying to get back into the swing of things and that includes drawing. Add on that classes have started for me, I’ve just been a bit busy and am still trying to get back into some of my normal routines even 3 months later.

I’ve contemplated and thought deeply about this and have come to the decision that I will still keep this blog in a hiatus. Although school and real life are some of the reasons why I’m doing this, the other half of the reasons are related to this blog. I have some plans and ideas and some work that I want to work on and get running on this blog but whenever I work on them, I find myself either stuck in some parts or distracted into working on some of my other works. If I opened up the blog, chances are that I’ll be doing the same thing when I work on them or I’ll be more focused on working on an ask and I will never end up finishing them. So I want to keep this blog temporarily closed while I work on those things when I have the time until I have finished all the changes and updates. I want the next time I open up this blog to be open with the new changes and updates that have been finished after sitting in my comp for a long while.

((Allllriiight, and that’s the last of the asks!! Some of you may have noticed that I have closed the askbox, and that’s because I’ll be taking a bit of a short break! This blog will be on a 3-month hiatus as I will be studying abroad over in London and I am not sure how busy I will be over there to be able to work on any asks that may come in while I’m over there, hence why the askbox will temporarily be closed. Once I’m done and I’m back home, I’ll go ahead and reopen the askbox and prolly make another announcement for it!

Billy-Faraday, what. the. fuck.

Faraday-You can thank Goody for that! Fucking dragged me over then just flung me right across the damn room into you!

Goody-Oh goodness, are you two alright? Faraday, how did you even manage that feat?

Goody-Billy, what are you saying? You can’t turn down such a lovely mademoiselle when she’s offering to buy you a drink, that just won’t do.

Billy-Yes. Two Faradays would be a nightmare.

Faraday-Aww come on guys, you don’t think it’s cool that a girl wanted to be like me? Although I can’t say I’m surprised, since I am the best person in this group to be like.

Goody-Joshua, that is not something to be proud of.

Faraday-But come on!! Lookit her! She’s just as adorable as me, no?

Billy-You and I must be seeing two different faces then.

Red-I am close with my family and tribe, however I have not yet seen a need to go back and visit them just yet. They are all still well though, from what I know.

Goody-Perhaps small annoyances would be a better way to put it. Just small little habits or actions that any of us sometimes do.

Faraday-We’re a group of 7 men with our own little quirks and differences, it’d be hard for none of us to annoy each other in some way.

Sam-We’re not going to list them, however Faraday’s knack for trouble tends to be high up on there.

Faraday-What can I say? I’m the absolute best at cheering people up and making them smile.

Goody-I can’t really say I have a favorite food, but I’ll admit I’m partial to a few Creole dishes that I was quite fond of back home.

Billy-My favorite food wouldn’t be something anybody would know nor would it be something you see quite a lot of.

Sam-Can’t say that I have a particular favorite. So long as it’s edible.

Horne-I’m a bit fond of having jerky sometimes for a snack.

Vasquez-No particular favorite, I’d eat almost anything really. Though I admit, I do miss some food from back home, particularly a few sweet treats I had when I was a boy.
