so it’s basically a Toy Story AU / “what if” scenario thing where the toys are trapped at Sunnyside WAY longer than they were in the movie.
I wanted to focus on Mr. Potato Head (bc duh do you even know me) since he’s the most unruly of the group and he would cause the biggest dilemma when it comes to Lotso maintaining his rule over everyone.
I was thinking that the box didn’t really change him much so Lotso would have to resort to more drastic and forceful punishments to keep him in line.
despite the maltreatment, Potato Head would cling to the belief that he and his friends don’t deserve the abuse all while his own mental and emotional health goes to shit from being abused so severely and frequently.
anyway the idea started from this doodle I made, which was originally meant to be a funny stupid little shitpost but ended up spiraling into this whole plot idea 😭
