i’m not really a big domestic AU fan, simply because i love action and The Angst, but uhhhh i love the idea of roy and ed so deeply in love that nothing is a chore?
like when they are cooking dinner, nothing really gets done. they end up goofing off the whole time telling jokes, playing around, kissing. ed keeps taking the spatula and roy is Really Mad that he just!!! has to pick ed up!! and walk him around!! ends up in passionate make out session and burnt dinner. they end up ordering pizza
doing laundry, they keep throwing everything that each other. roy jokes the entire time. ed purposely unfolds all the clothes roy has folded. roy gets Really Angry, and does the towel-curl thing and tries to get Ed’s ass, chasing him around the house. they play wrestle. ed wins. ends in passionate make out session.
i just love the idea of roy and ed loving each other deeply, and making everything fun okay?? just genuinely enjoying each other’s company. they don’t have to plan everything, and they don’t have to have sex to feel intimate and connected. they love each other for the happiness they bring.
