oh high, been a minute.

a life update as a thank-you for all the people who sent me lovely messages in my absence.

i got really sick from stress and lost 8 kilos (18 pounds).

Got into a relationship.

Stopped eating.

Grew out my hair.

Turned 30.

Got Help.

Got better.

Fully Crashed out.

Got put on anti-anxiety medication that fixed a lot (oh my god is life easier jesus.)

Gained the 8 kilos back.

Any way. Life is Good. Ya girls growing plants and painting trees.

I've been trying to emulate your drawing style, off and on, for years now. Here's an attempt from me.

How do you not get bogged down in the details? It's impressive! I keep wanting to add more and more tiny lines.

The hair lines are so neat and continuous and the expression so peaceful.

with details... im gonna go with i have an extremely short attention span + i "trained" as an animator, which is a extremely stuck up way of saying i went to uni for animation and did a shit tone of animator focused life drawing where you had to do things fayst. like 1-5 mins to draw the entire person or pose.

makes you learn the hard way whats important to make a drawing feel complete, both in terms of detail and looking like a human.

if you don't have the capability to do IRL life drawing i would highly recommend https://line-of-action.com/practice-tools/ and doing the 1-2 mins sessions. and really forcing yourself to move on after that time (youll be tempted to stop and flesh out each drawing, dont, move on, suffer and improve lol)

and then I scrolled more and saw the "sun drunk" drawing and I loved that one too

idrk where I was going with this but I just wanted to say how much I loved the colours and shapes and literally everything (but especially the colour choice it was just so pleasing to the eye😭)

I love how there are literally 2 colours for the blue haired girl but you still made it look so bright and colourful and I love how the warm colours compliment eachother for the 'sun drunk' girl

Hello!! thankyou so much for buying a shirt - i havent done things like that in a while... wow 7 years, time has flown

the shirt was inspired by my best friend who keeps bees.

I hate carrying a bag so i carry as little as possible so i can avoid a bag.

so usually all i have on my when in the outside world is my phone and my keys, which consist of a fob and a single key on a carabiner clipped to my belt loops
