I think too often people forget that βtheyβ is as much a pronoun as any of the others, and it isnβt as neutral as you want it to be.
I accept it as a useful default (and I use it that way myself), but once a person has told you their preferences, you GOTTA stop using they/them if itβs not on the list. please. this isnβt me trying to make anyone feel bad but itβs at a point where Iβm misgendered more in βinclusiveβ spaces than literally anywhere else
