Things are going to change here

Changes so far:

Kai met a girl who he dated for a while, but she broke it off and left after giving birth to triplets (the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th picture are the triplets.)

The triplets are known as: Icarus (green-blue eyes), Hector (purple eyes), and Ashton (golden eyes). Icarus is the eldest triplet and master of bug, Hector is the middle triplet and master of illusion, and Ashton is the youngest triplet and master of fire.

Kai has retired from being a ninja and lives with Skylar. The two are dating. Kai is currently trying to get use to living a simple life instead of a ninja life, and he sometimes has trouble sleeping (hence the bags under his eyes). The scars on his cheeks are from an adventure Kai rather not talk about yet. He is wearing glasses because his contacts got broken.

Skylar still runs the noodle house, and Kai helps out. She loves the kids as if they were her own, and the kids see her as a mom. She does her best to help Kai since he’s adjusting to a non-ninja life.

The ninjas do visit when they can (which can range from three times a week to four times a month). The triplets do like the others, and the others are basically the aunts and uncles.

The triplets have never met their mom, as she doesn’t come to visit. She pays child support, and that’s all everyone knows.

Kai: Hi.

Hector: Mommy, is our baby sister kicking right now?

Skylor: Yep. She is.

The triplets immediately went to feel the kicks. Skylor laughed.

Kai: By the way, how are you feeling?

Skylor: I’m fine right now. I am gonna try to get some rest later if lil roadrunner here isn’t being very noisy by then.

???: You did? Let me see.

Skylor: Yep, that is it. Hi everyone. Sorry for the very long disappearance. It has been extremely busy, but we have been able to find time now.

Icarus: Hi people!

Kai comes in the room.

Kai: I’m back. Did you guys find the camera?

Skylor: Yep. Was hidden in the big ol pile here.

Kai: Well, we can catch everyone up while we eat. I got peanut butter and tater tot casserole.

Skylar: Here are your tissues.

Skylar handed Kai a box of tissues.

Kai, sounding stuffy: Thanks, Sky.

Kai: Yep. Now I’m 28 and still sick.

Skylar: Happy birthday, Sunshine.

Skylar: Yeah. I feel bad for him. He didn’t do anything wrong to deserve this. But that cloud kingdom seems to not like my husband.

Kai: Sky, I think I’m good without the medicine.

Skylar: You just had a coughing fit. Don’t try to deny medicine.

Skylar: Okay, I have medicine, soup, and a hat to warm your little ears.

Kai, sounding stuffy: Thanks Sky.

Ashton: Mommy? Is Daddy going to be sick all winter again?

Skylar: We’re gonna aim for not that. We have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow to get some tests done so we can solve this mystery.

Kai: Find a cure for me and my dad, and finally stop getting sick during winter.

Skylar: Yep. We are making spaghetti-o for Kai. He always liked it.

Hector: Mommy? Is Daddy okay?

Kai: Thanks. Though this isn’t the first time I’ve gotten sick near winter. Ever since the kids came along, I’ve gotten sick every winter. Dad gets sick too every time winter comes along.

Kai: Winter sickness… again.

Skylar: Kai?

Kai: I’m fine, Sky, just the seasonal sickness.

Skylar: Oh, sweetheart. I’ll cook you some soup.

Skylar: Cake is delicious.

Kai: I have an easy bake for red velvet.

Skylar: Don’t want to go out?

Kai: Wooo! You want some cake

Skylar: Yes.

Icarus: Cake! Cake! Cake!

Hector: What cake are we getting?

Ashton: Can we get ice cream cake?

Skylar: Why don’t we get a normal cake so your Dad doesn’t stay in the bathroom tonight?

Kai: How dare you use my lactose intolerance like that.

Skylar: I’m only trying to save you from the dreaded bathroom. So for cake, why don’t we get red velvet?

Skylar: Trying to get rid of a headache.

Kai, coming into the room: We have pain killers.
