Dia de los Muertos Ofrenda
Hello all, it's been a bit.
Recently, I learned of the tragic loss to our community. Though Bader and I only ever spoke once, their presence was a constant in the community in the last few years.
Growing up, this time of year is filled with the celebrations of the lives of those we have lost, creating ofrendas and memorials to reminiscence in the memories they have left us with. And with a loss so profound, I think it is only right we do the same here.
As a result, after some discussion with @kuixotic, I have decided to put together our own ofrenda dedicated to @blueespeon and the memories they have left us with.
If you would like to submit a photo, a marigold, or a candle of your own to be included on this ofrenda, please submit it to my inbox here. I will include it on the display, to be released on the actual day of Dia de los Muertos.
While you are welcome to draw something new for the photos, I would also encourage you to look back at past interactions you had with Bader and submit a favorite panel from those asks. This is a collection of memories, after all.
Should you be unable to draw, please do still send in an ask to request to be included. Below are a sample candle and marigold that will be included for each person who isn't able to submit their own unique piece to the ofrenda.
The deadline for submissions is October 31.
