I felt so so so terrible. It had just been so shocking, I hadn’t known what to say. Lovely timing, isn’t it? Awesome.

I decided to approach it how I approach everything...RESEARCH! I closed myself in my flat and read any book, article, or TED talk on enrequired love and how best to make someone forgive you. If he was willing, that is.

And then Courfeyrac and Combeferre decided I’d done that long enough. They made me live “like a person” and also address what to do next.

Courf also cut my hair for me! Something about being able to see my surroundings and my feelings, too.

A couple of days later, Éponine gave me Grantaire’s train information and the keys to her car to go get him with the threat of murder if I messed any of it up. Terrifying, but fair.

And, when I saw him, I told him the truth in, if I may say so, a marvel of research and writing. But, I choose to keep it to us...sorry... But, the important part is that it turned out just fine for us...perfect.]

Enjolras: So...that’s it.

Enjolras: Basically...I may be good with politics, but I’m shit with feelings. Less shit than I was, but still shit.

R: Oh, shut up.

R: *dying animal noise*

Enjolras: Well, that, and my being in first year of Master’s School. And Grantaire’s art. Has he told you all he’s being paid for it now? Hired on retainer for...

R: *sigh*

Enjolras: Say it.

R: ...a political campaign...

R: It’s been about...well...a year and 7 and a half months?

R: And things are good. I’m happy.

R: I mean, with Angel Arse around and kissable, there’s not much to complain about, right?

R: This sounds dorky, but my art therapist had me draw this like? Feelings comic thing. Help solidify the good feelings and put away the bad, yknow?

R: Anyway...here.

R: Ahhh, hey guys! Awww, I missed you too!

R: It’s been a bonkers 2 years, lemme tell ya...

R: Also, the heat is...

R: Well, honestly, it fucking sucks. Look at my goddamn hair. I look like fucking Courfeyrac.

R, movie announcer voice: Long ago...there was a man who was SUPER sad...but this one time, a bunch of strangers on the internet showed up at a rally he was a part of after he very drunkenly invited them on the Worldwide Web. That day, he met 30 rad as hell people and they all had an awesome time and R was the coolest and most popular, hottest, most creative, and best person ever.

R, normal voice: I love this picture so fuckin’ much. But, in all seriousness, Courf wrote that for me.

R: TADAA! Hey guys! Long time no chat!

R: Like, 2 years no chat, to be precise... there’s still so many of you guys out there! It’s crazy. Let’s check the inbox, I can’t believe you guys have already sent in messages.

R: Heh, sorry about that...the whole disappearing without a word for 2 years after I made you all concerned about my problems bit.

R: Things at the rally just really...got crazy. I-I mean, everything is great now! Nothing bad happened, it was just...I needed to get away for a while.

R: So, I did, but when I got back, I just kinda forgot about all this... it wasn’t until I found my old laptop in storage that I even remembered it.

R: But, I mean it that I want to do this whole thing again. I’m so much...better than I was then, I mean comparatively, so why not? It was fun.

R: There’s also been some pretty...uhhh...wild changes for me these last 2 years...if anyone’s curious.

(( hey guys! So obviously...I’m back! And when i say I’m back i actually mean I’m back making content currently. Right now. As you read this. So that means, unlike what I said last year, I’ll actually be producing content regularly again. Some of you guys may be wondering what I’ve been up to this whole time, or what happened to make me essentially dissapesr for 2 years. For those of you who submitted to my “be drawn in the rally” thing and are super irritated at me? I get it I’m sorry. That being said, all 30 of you will still appear in the comic. However, as you may have guessed, there has been a time jump of 2 years and it will be in the form of pictures or flashback comics!

I hope y’all still want this as much as I do. Send in some asks so we can get this baby rolling again!!!

When I created this blog, I was 18 and very certain about what I wanted to do. I went to CU Boulder to study Voice and decided I was a lesbian and that was that. However, towards the end of my freshman year of college (around the Musain scenes), I was put in patient for suicidal intent and ideation. When I got out, I thought I’d be okay, and in a way I was. But I hadn’t realized just how...messy things were in my brain? Long story short, I still had a LOT of things to figure out. I stopped drawing for a long time, dropped out of school, got a very serious boyfriend (hopefully soon fiancé?) and moved home over the course of the last 2 years. I’m back in school now and taking life and what I’m doing with it slow. Just going with the flow. But, I missed this and I missed all of you. So, I’m back. And we’re gonna finish this bih.
