Teen Wolf Promo
TEEN WOLF SEASON 3B THEROY
If you guys have seen the sneak peak of season 3B with Alison and Isaac making out, when Kate Argent shows up and kills Isaac, but then Alison wakes up from her nightmare, then you will underatand this theroy.
Accourding to multiple sources, Jeff Davis has talked about and confirmed that a new character, Kira, an pretty Asian girl played by Arden Cho,
is going to appear in this season. Also, a new mythological creature, from Japanese origin, a Kitsune, will be placed into the crazy Teen Wolf cast. Although not confirmed Arden wil play the Kitsune, in mythology, a kitune takes the human form of a young Asian girl or an old man.
One of the powers of a Kitsune is it has willful manifestation in the dreams of others. My theroy is that Kira, the Kitsune, will have something to do with 'Alisaac" and made Alison have that dream we saw in the sneak peak of season 3B.
Continuing this, the Kitsune also is said to have the power toΒ the creation ofΒ illusionsΒ so elaborate as to be almost indistinguishable from reality. We all see the trailers for this season at the end saying "Loose Your Mind." I think this all has to do with the illusions the kitsune is placing into everybodys mind.Β Some tales speak of kitsune with even greater powers, able to bend time and space, or drive people mad. This backs up that theory again, explaining why the cast of season 3B looks like they are going crazy in the sneak peaks.
Other kitsune have characteristics reminiscent ofΒ vampiresΒ orΒ succubiΒ and feed on the life or spirit of human beings, generally through sexual contact. Kitsune are commonly portrayed as lovers, usually in stories involving a young human male and a kitsune who takes the form of a human woman.Β The kitsune may be a seductress, but these stories are more often romantic in nature.Β Typically, the young man unknowingly marries the fox, who proves a devoted wife. The man eventually discovers the fox's true nature, and the fox-wife is forced to leave himΒ I think Kira will end up dating Scott while Alison is dating Isaac and be able to feed on his life and spirit...
KitsunetsukiΒ literally meansΒ the state of being possessed by a fox. The victim is always a young woman, whom the fox enters beneath her fingernails or through her breasts.Β In some cases, the victims' facial expressions are said to change in such a way that they resemble those of a fox. Japanese tradition holds that fox possession can cause illiterate victims to temporarily gain the ability to read.Β Though foxes in folklore can possess a person of their own will,Β KitsunetsukiΒ is often attributed to the malign intents of hereditaryΒ fox employers, orΒ tsukimono-suji. I feel like this means Kira, the kitsune, is going to take over Alison or Lydia, a young women.
Strange is the madness of those into whom demon foxes enter. Sometimes they run naked shouting through the streets. Sometimes they lie down and froth at the mouth, and yelp as a fox yelps. And on some part of the body of the possessed a moving lump appears under the skin, which seems to have a life of its own. Prick it with a needle, and it glides instantly to another place. By no grasp can it be so tightly compressed by a strong hand that it will not slip from under the fingers. Possessed folk are also said to speak and write languages of which they were totally ignorant prior to possession. They eat only what foxes are believed to like tofuΒ and they eat a great deal, alleging that not they, but the possessing foxes, are hungry. He goes on to note that, once freed from the possession, the victim will never again be able to eat tofuΒ or other foods favored by foxes.Β If this is all true, and happens in Teen Wolf Season 3B, this could get a little yucky...I mean the lump thing is a little gross.Β
Just a side note: To get rid of the curse, excorism is preformed.Β In the past, when such gentle measures failed or a priest was not available, victims ofΒ kitsunetsukiΒ were beaten or badly burned in hopes of forcing the fox to leave. Entire families were ostracized by their communities after a member of the family was thought to be possessed.
Lastly, the kitsune is also said to be able to take fantastic shapes such as a tree of incredible height or a second moon in the sky. This theory is really far out there, but the nemeton is, or was, a huge tree, so what if, and like I said, this is really far out, Kira, the kitsune, is the nemeton, making everyone crazy? The Darach fed on life and spirit, and fed from the nemeton, so what if really, the Darach fed from the kitsune? I don't know exactly where I am going with all this, but I have a feeling I'm getting some where...
Some extra info I found that may help understand some occurences in Teen Wolf:Β
Depictions of kitsune or their possessed victims may feature round or onion-shaped white balls known asΒ hoshi no tama.Β Tales describe these as glowing withΒ kitsunebi.Β Some stories identify them as magical jewels or pearls.Β When not in human form or possessing a human, a kitsune keeps the ball in its mouth or carries it on its tail.Β Jewels are a common symbol of Inari, and representations of sacred Inari foxes without them are rare.Β One belief is that when aΒ kitsuneΒ changes shape, itsΒ hoshi no tamaΒ holds a portion of its magical power. Another tradition is that the pearl represents the kitsune's soul; the kitsune will die if separated from it for long. Those who obtain the ball may be able to extract a promise from theΒ kitsuneΒ to help them in exchange for its return.Β For example, a 12th-century tale describes a man using a fox'sΒ hoshi no tamaΒ to secure a favor.Β
Ninetails and Foxfire fromΒ ΕkamiΒ are kitsunes/kitsune oriented. As the name suggests, Ninetails has nine tails, each of which wear small fox-face masks. Foxfire is a group of purple flames that take form of small typical foxes wearing head ornaments. At times in combat, they will stand onto their hind legs, wave their arms and stick their tongue out as if to frighten the player.
Other kitsune use their magic for the benefit of their companion or hosts as long as the human beings treat them with respect. AsΒ yΕkai, however, kitsune do not share human morality, and a kitsune who has adopted a house in this manner may, for example, bring its host money or items that it has stolen from the neighbors. Accordingly, common households thought to harbor kitsune are treated with suspicion.Β
Kitsune are often presented asΒ tricksters, with motives that vary from mischief to malevolence. Stories tell of kitsune playing tricks on overly proudΒ samurai, greedy merchants, and boastful commoners, while the crueler ones abuse poor tradesmen and farmers or devout Buddhist monks. Their victims are usually men; women are possessed instead.Β For example, kitsune are thought to employ theirΒ kitsunebiΒ to lead travelers astray in the manner of aΒ will o' the wisp.Β Another tactic is for the kitsune to confuse its target with illusions or visions.Β Other common goals of trickster kitsune include seduction, theft of food, humiliation of the prideful, or vengeance for a perceived slight.Β
A traditional game calledΒ kitsune-kenΒ (fox-fist) references the kitsune's powers over human beings. The game is similar toΒ rock, paper, scissors, but the three hand positions signify a fox, a hunter, and a village headman. The headman beats the hunter, whom he outranks; the hunter beats the fox, whom he shoots; the fox beats the headman, whom he bewitches.Β
Kitsune keep their promises and strive to repay any favor. Occasionally a kitsune attaches itself to a person or household, where they can cause all sorts of mischief
