text: Trait: Rage, Main Color: Pink, Description: do you want to fight? because she does, she’ll punch a b*tch, used to yell a lot, but doesn’t anymore because she doesn’t actually want to cause permanent harm, has declared vengeance on many an in animate object, I am not buff and she’s very upset about that

She used to be hidden entirely for a long time, and is still kind of frustrated about that. But she also doesn’t want to hurt anyone, so she spends a decent amount of time with Logic learning healthy ways to get her anger out. She does tend to break stuff accidentally all the time, though. That poor makeup sponge has been through a lot. She’s a fan of Beau from Critical Role. She didn’t used to get along with any of the others, really, but it’s much better now since she’s not taking her anger out on them anymore.

Text: Trait: Chaos, Main Color, Purple, Description: the reason I like horror, loves pushing the rules, always ready to go off the rails, in a literal or metaphorical sense, like Remus, he represents intrusive thoughts, but also everything that isn’t allowed, feral gremlin

He is best friends with Mischief, and they get into shenanigans all the time, but Mischief is on good terms with the others and he really isn’t. He spends a lot of time in his own section of the mindscape because of this, running disturbing scenarios or pretending he’s the evil king of the land or something. He is a gremlin like Remus is, except he’s less gross and more disturbing. He really likes that one Junji Ito comic about the spirals.

Some notes about the mindscape in general:

Instead of thinking of it as them having rooms, it’s more like Neverland, a large island where they all have their own areas. Logic has a small house that more or less looks like my real one but neater, Heart lives in a little cottage with a garden, Creativity lives in a treehouse castle (it’s built on a tree but it’s really big and fancy), Anxiety lives in a cave in the woods, Distrust lives at the top of an abandoned cathedral (like a gargoyle), Mischief just lives wherever, she just sleeps where she’s at or with one of the others, Rage lives in a simple wooden house she built herself, and Chaos lives in a castle that looks like the one from the Howl’s Moving Castle movie, complete with the moving part but it usually stays in the dark part of the woods so he can be the King of Darkness there

Anxiety’s not super happy about being so close to Chaos all the time but neither of them will move. 

They aren’t split into light and dark but there are definitely some that are closest to me because I identify with them more. The first post lists the closest ones, this post has the ones furthest away, and the middle ones are in the middle.

Creativity will take them on adventures sometimes, which Chaos will occasionally mess with, but also sometimes things just happen.

I did steal a lot of xer eyeshadow stuff from Virgil, but xer color is grey so sadly no purple eyeshadow for xem. Tends to rain on both Mischief and Creativities parade (like, xe understands making stuff, clearly, but why on earth would you share that stuff with other people, are you crazy?) Xe’s almost always “going thru it”, but xe does try to participate because xe knows isolation is also bad. The lightning doesn’t happen very often, but xe almost never means to do it and usually needs help to get rid of it (which usually comes from Logic or Heart).

text: Trait: Mischief (I did a typo on there it’s fine), Main Color: Yellow, Description: is a cat, prefers to sit in a crouch, will crawl up the stairs on all fours, a gremlin, likes the Joxter and Loki, them in the kitchen in the middle of the night, not even getting a snack just sitting on the table for no reason

They love making the others laugh, even though she isn’t always sure where the line is when it comes to mischief and doesn’t tend to ask first. They will jump at you and expect to be caught in your arms, it doesn’t matter what you’re holding at the time. Another character they love is Missy from Doctor Who. Rarely explains themselves, once in a while they’ll walk through the living room with a potted plant on their head and a bunch of tiny jars in their arms and not say anything. “What do you have there?” “A smoothie” (while there is an ostrich in the room). 

text: Trait: Distrust/Disdain, Main Color: White/Black, Description: she’s suspicious of you, it’s not personal, half stone on the left side, like a gargoyle, becomes more stone/monstrous when upset, function similar to Janus, sometimes grows moss on the stone

text: Trait: Heart, Main Color: Light Grey, Description: similar to Patton, but she’s less morality and more emotions, definitely takes care of the others though, likes to help other people handle their emotions, and so sometimes ignores their own feelings.

She’s very sensitive to other people’s feelings, they’ll probably cry if someone is feeling an emotion in her vicinity. She also loves children, and would hug all of them if they could. They also like to learn as much as they can about emotions and how to handle them, and teach others how to do it to, especially children (especially since I’m a childcare worker). They are working on not blaming themselves when bad things happen.

text: Trait: Creativity, Main Color: Blue/Teal, Description: curly, poofy, reddish hair, has a cape that is also blue like her skirt, sometimes has wings, especially during adventures, which she goes on a lot, has some scars from that

Despite being Creativity, she’s really not like Roman at all. She’s definitely the most confident of the sides, but she’s not loud or showy (not that those are bad, she’s just not that). Very dramatic but mostly for comedic purposes (like “a string broke while I was making my pirate shirt and now my day is ruined/s). Speaking of that, she likes to hand make everything if she can, and she made all of her clothes. She usually plays like an unsung hero type when she imagines adventures, like, she won’t advertise herself but if someone asks she’ll be like “oh why yes I did save all those people didn’t I”

text: Trait: Logic, Main Color: Navy Blue, Description: she’s probably not paying attention, sorry, anyway, did you know that- hmmmm, actually, you probably don’t, it’s kind of weird, actually I’m going to tell you anyway…

She’s very distractible, and wants to learn everything about everything but grudgingly accepts that there just isn’t time to do that. She also forgets things a lot, hence the thought journal. She would never admit it, but *the aesthetic* is very important to her. Things have to match, even if the way that they match is that nothing matches. She will also happily talk to you for three hours about whatever she’s interested in at the moment, and vice versa, she loves to listen to people talk about things they love. She’s very wordy, but it’s only because antidisestablishmentarianism (for example) was the only word that worked in that specific situation, otherwise it wouldn’t have made sense, clearly.

Celeste is a Fander Side, specifically my singular creative side! She is definitely the leader in my mindscape (whether or not the others like this) and has a tendency to make a fanfic out of everything.

Despite representing Maturity, he formed shortly after Imagination and a few other Sides, making me a very mature little brat for my age (i get this a lot)

Verity is a Fander Side, specifically my logical side. Ruling much of my core philosophy, yet often playing tug of war with some of her sisters in my day-to-day tasks, I've definitely gotten better at listening to her since I first joined the TSS fandom and gave her a name.
