Showed up at the station one day with a work order and hasn't left since. Helps Patche with repairs, and while they don't know the station's quirks like he does, they make up for it by being innovative and having a better understanding of biotech (like palmhusks and husktops). If the station needs to be moved one day, it'll be their job to wrangle one of the psionics into the cockpit in X Core. They're one of the only employees who visit the core for upkeep. In their free time, they host a radio show from their room in the employee dormitories.

Pyxiss arrived under mysterious circumstances, out cold in a fleet ship full of corpses. Upon rejoining the waking world, it was discovered that he had no memories of his former life. While everyone assumes he was the captain due to his uniform, he can neither deny nor confirm. There's no record of a fleet ship going missing, so no one's quite sure what to do with him. Pyxiss tends to avoid his ship, haunted by the empty spaces where his memories should be, as well as the faces of the dead who arrived with him. But, he has to earn his keep to keep his ship docked, so Algeon assigns him janitorial work in exchange for space at the dock and a room in the dormitory. One can find him in the nooks and crannies of Station X, spacing out or relearning fleet protocol on his datapad.

Their psionics can make dazzling light shows, creating the forms of anything they can imagine, but, in terms of physical psionic power, they'd never stand a chance in a fight. But they're powerful in their own way, more than capable of powering the entire station...

As the owner of the station, Algeon takes no pride in the place, letting it fall further into disrepair every sweep (this is also maybe attributed to his frugal spending on things that are not for him). Not one to chill in the dorms, Algeon has a luxury ship permanently docked at the port. He can be rather cold towards his employees, giving their requests for station improvements the cold shoulder. His one exception is, surprisingly, Patche. It's unclear if he has any particular feelings towards Patche, but he warms up in the handyman's presence.

Awfully tired and jaded for a young troll, Reihei doesn't let ship crews fuck with him or the other employees. Easily irritated, he will take it out on the customer and will do everything he can to turn your words around on them. ("Oh, you came to my lane? What, you didn't want to visit XXXXXX's lane? Are you sexist? Casteist?" Etc.) Most customers won't mess with him unless they're confident they can take a purple blood in a fight. Reihei revels in the violence when this happens, win or lose.

Assigned to Station X on loan by the fleet, Zoi lounges around for the most part, not having much to do, seeing as Station X is stationary. He's a pretty chill guy, wears his fleet uniform often to discourage customers who would be troublemakers. While there's some disconnect between him and the non-fleet workers of Station X, he follows Patche and Pyxiss around like a puppy, taking smoke breaks with Patche and asking Pyxiss questions about their research. The disconnect with the others is hard on him sometimes; he's very social and can feel the vibe is off. It wears on his self-esteem.

Once a hemoanonymous fleet soldier, her crew deserted her on Station X upon stumbling across her true blood color. While knowing it was a mercy, to protect themselves from the empire, and to protect her from them, she's still fucked up over it. When she was first abandoned, Patche was there, keeping her together even though they were strangers. She considers him her first true friend, and while she ends up leaving to join the resistance (and works her way up the ranks), Station X is her home. When visiting, she'll crash in Patche's room, which he "begrudgingly" allows. When off fighting the empire and inconveniencing the fleet, she'll get into these absolutely nightmarish moods, which her rebel group takes as a sign that it's time to send her back to Station X for Patche to deal with. Very susceptible to sleep deprivation, hunger, dehydration, and general irritability from dealing with "idiots".

It's obvious to anyone with eyes that he's head over heels for her, and it's debated if his pathetic-ness is the reason Lenore doesn't constantly bite his head off.

- The Port -
The jewel of Station X, an area where ships can refuel. There are 20 docks, two of which have full-time occupants.
- Employee Dormitories -
A single-story, run-down building that was never meant to be permanent. It contains a few dozen rooms that comfortably (ish) fit a single troll. Some employees have demolished walls to make bigger rooms. It also has a kitchen and two bathrooms (each with a few toilet stalls and a shower).
- The Pond -
A deep pool containing a few lavish bungalows, exclusively used by traveling seadwellers. And Hio.
- X Core -
Station X's control center, hidden in the depths. To get there, one must slog through the sewers, navigating the labyrinthine tunnels while avoiding feral varmint lusii. It's a hassle to reach the core, so many of the employees don't bother unless there's a big issue.
- Patche's Pumpkin Patch -
Once the Station X greenhouse--meant for providing fresh produce to employees living there-- is now overrun by pumpkins. Patche was quick to claim the greenhouse when Station X was set up, and no one's been able to get him to grow anything else there since.
- Rainbow's End Cottage -
The station's bed and breakfast, managed by Liebha! When weary crews need a nice place to stay, Liebha welcomes them with open arms. While the B&B is a little outdated in style, it's homey and clean. While the ground floor is available to guests, the upper two floors are locked up. Wonder what that's about?
- GrubCloset -
A chain of empire-wide minimarts. Notorious for having products of suspicious quality, but good in a pinch for a snack. It's a coin toss whether the products shipped to Station X will be edible, but every once in a while, something notable, exciting, or trendy will come in, and some of the station employees will fight over who gets first pick of the shipment.
(It is to be noted that there are more reputable and reliable minimart chains out there, but Algeon chose the cheap option.)
- The Lucky Pangolin (Previously; Petrah Burger) -
Originally a causal mom & pop esque diner, Algeon sold it to Taoshu in the hopes that remodeling the joint would bring in more money. It's now an East-Alternian sit-down restaurant, named after Taoshu's lusus.
