Hi anon! Bless you for checking in! I've been getting quite a few of these asks trying to poke me in the last few days - but this is by far the kindest one. I'm doing okay. The sun is shining - I'm surviving - I have a lot going on this year. I haven't been divulging on social media very much, but – the people closest to me know how insane this year is for me.

But the truth is - when it comes to drawing and writing - I'm facing one of the most upsetting cases of burnout I've ever had. All of my medical trauma over these past two years have really taken it out of me - and I just can't seem to get the juices flowing like I used to. It feels like I'm a fruit tree - and normally, I have very fruitful years – but this year, I won't be producing much fruit. And I think it's justifiable - my body has been through a lot. I just have to hope I'll be more fruitful next year.
