There's not much to know about me. I'm a steel-type specialist. My partner PokƩmon is Skarmory. If I'm Mr. Corbeau's right hand man, my Skarmory is my right hand 'mon. That's all that you need to know.

"There's nothing to be sorry for, Ishi," Philippe soothed gently. "You're alright. You're safe. I'm here for you. If anyone messes with you ever again, I'll mess them up for you. You don't have to be afraid anymore."
With how comfortable he was and how Philippe was soothing him he eventually relaxed, muffled mutterings still leaving him as he settled against him. Slither Wing seemed pleased he was doing better and he snuggled him in response which just made his trainer melt under the affection. It was just another sign of how little he seemed to be used to it.
Philippe let out a breath of relief as Ishi finally calmed down. He smiled at Slither Wing, using his free hand to give him a scratch on the head.
"Thanks for the help, buddy," Philippe thanked the PokƩmon. "I appreciate it. I know you're good at keeping him safe."
Philippe laughed at Skiddo's antics.
"You really have an insatiable appetite, don't you?" Philippe asked, grinning. "Although whatever Ishi's cooking does smell pretty good."
A smirk came to his face at that and he would settle smugly next to his trainer, a sigh leaving Ishimaru as he pat his head and tended to the noodles he was cooking. While he loved yakisoba, especially the more savory ones, it was also quite easy to make out in the field as well. Slither Wing and Skiddo loved it too so he was more than happy to make it. Especially when they had another with them too.
"T-the noodles will be done s-soon... G-goodness... I-I eh... I-I hope you don't mind eh... y-yakisoba..."
Philippe nodded, sitting down beside Skiddo and smiling. He didn't know that Ishi could cook like this! It was nice to know that at least Ishi wasn't starving out here on his own.
"Does his cooking taste as good as it smells?" Philippe asked Skiddo.

Jeez I looked so strange, but that's me and one of my original PokƩmon! Her name was Caecīdi! I met her in the Alabaster Icelands, it's where modern day Snowpoint City is in Sinnoh!!!
Oh, wow, that's a huge Lucario! Was she an Alpha? She really was gorgeous. And you look quite adorable in your little outfit. :) It's quite different than what you wear these days.
She was an alpha PokƩmon, almost all of my team was. Except for my Alolan Ninetails, I can't remember her nickname.. but she was given to me by a member of the Security Corps who came from Alola. Real sweetheart that one.
The outfit I'm wearing is actually the uniform for the Survey Corps! You can see examples of it in the museum, although I chose not to wear the handkerchief... It was warm and easy to move in, durable to. The clothes you and I wear today wouldn't have done much protection.
It must be pretty tough for you to have outlived your PokƩmon, huh? I can't even imagine what that would be like. I hope that my team is around for every bit as long as I am. I know that's not necessarily realistic, but I want to have them by my side for as long as I can.
And that's quite interesting! I've heard about the Hisui exhibit at the museum, but I haven't gone and seen it yet. Maybe we could go there together sometime? It'd be cool to have someone from that time period explain everything to me.
Yeah... I know they were cared for though. I think Metanoia might be around still, since she was a Mismagius. With good health, PokƩmon can live a long time.

That sounds like a lovely time. All of this sounds quite intriguing, and it'd be nice to learn from someone who actually lived in that time and place. You've got insider knowledge that the people who made the exhibit don't.

Ah, you're a steel type specialist as well? It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Philippe. My partner PokƩmon is a Skarmory named Colette. My other PokƩmon are my Steelix, AldƩric; my Scizor, Baylen; my Aggron, Pascal; my Klefki, Giselle; and my Tinkatink, Faelyn. Although Faelyn doesn't battle with the rest of my team-- she's still in training.
Pleasureās all mine! My partner PokĆ©mon is an Aggron named Wally, and I also have an Aegislash named Kay, a Metagross named Kanda, and a Corviknight named Lady Nibbles, although I havenāt officially caught Lady Nibbles, she still helps in battle and whatnot. Iām especially good at caring for Steel Types, and more than a few people have asked me how to care for them before catching one.
That's interesting! I hope Lady Nibbles isn't aggressive towards Skarmory like the Corviknight from Galar. Then again, my Tinkatink isn't aggressive towards my son's Rookidee, so perhaps things are different when the PokƩmon in question have been taken away from the context of their territorial disputes.
She isnāt, though she does get a little bit on edge around Tinkatons, which isnāt surprising considering that sheās got quite a few scars that definitely came from Tinkatons.
Oh... poor thing. So you guys are from Paldea? Or at least Lady Nibbles is. I've lived in Kalos my whole life, and I haven't done much traveling outside of the region. I'm going to go to Galar with my son sometime this summer, though. I'm hoping to catch some PokƩmon you can't catch here in Kalos.
Philippe frowned in concern, continuing to pet Ishi's hair and hold him close. It seemed like he needed the comfort, if his words and demeanor were anything to go by.
"You're safe, Ishi," Philippe assured him gently. "You're gonna be ok. I've got you. I won't let anyone hurt you."
A whimper left him as he leaned into the affection and he mumbled more before slowly but surely calming down. Having someone to hold onto and his Pokemon there to comfort him seemed to be easing him but with how attentive they were being it looked like it happened often.
"Mmm... S-sorry... I-I... I-I'm sorry... N-no more..."
"There's nothing to be sorry for, Ishi," Philippe soothed gently. "You're alright. You're safe. I'm here for you. If anyone messes with you ever again, I'll mess them up for you. You don't have to be afraid anymore."
Philippe gave Skiddo a sympathetic nod, giving his head a gentle pet.
"He really is remarkable with traumatized PokƩmon," Philippe hummed softly. "I'd have to check with Mr. Corbeau about adding him onto the team, but... I think it'd be a wise decision indeed."
Before he had a chance to respond Ishimaru would call to him and he'd trot up to help him move everything else into the tent, sneaking in nibbles from the bushes nearby when he had the chance. It was just too effective at getting him to take a minute and with how tired he still was he needed it. Especially since he was yawning so much already.
"S-skiddo! W-why must you do that? I-I... D-dinner will be s-soon... I-I eh... I-I just need to finish f-first..."
Philippe laughed at Skiddo's antics.

Do you ever get or give gifts to Mr. Corbeau? Congratulations on your relationship, by the way! I'd love to see your guy's rings if that's something you're willing to show :D

[Posting this to show that I indeed saw this ask, and I'm sorry I didn't answer it before the Corbeau I was rping with and I parted ways! I hope that eventually I'll find another Corbeau for Phil to go steady with, but for now, Phil is a single Pringle.]
What's your favorite sleeping position? Everyone says not to sleep on your stomach, but it's super comfortable for me...

I sleep on my side, but I use a piercing pillow that has a hole in it for my face so I don't end up getting a blowout. My ears are at 20mm, so I sleep with my jewelry out to avoid blowouts, but you can never be too careful.

Thank you very much, anon. I haven't exactly been "out and proud" about it, but on top of me being gay, I'm also a transgender man. I've been on testosterone for over a decade at this point. I figure I might as well tell you all about that this Pride. :) Hopefully this post will be an inspiration to other trans people in the community.
