The Wheel Weaves as the Wheel Wills

TarValon.Net is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2015 Robert Jordan Memorial Scholarship. The annual scholarship honors the life of Robert Jordan and asks each applicant to answer the question, “How do you plan to use your studies to become a Servant of All?”

The scholarship is open to all fans of the Wheel of Time. The Hall of the Tower at TarValon.Net, Inc., a group made up of 2 members of each community group, is blinded to the authors of the essays, and votes on the best. The Director of Community Outreach is the only person to see the full applications.

For the first time, we will be offering two $500 scholarships. Any student who is a current undergraduate or graduate student may apply (enrollment will be verified after a recipient is selected).  Applications must be written in English. Applications will be accepted June 7–July 5. A final decision will be made by July 31.

bela as a super beat-up pickup truck constantly coated in dirt and dust. random pieces occasionally fall off of it, and it was crashed into various things more than once when rand, mat, and perrin were learning to drive, but it miraculously never breaks down.

mandarb as a big black suv that lan drives all of the two rivers kids around in. (it’s really not big enough for all of them, and there’s a lot of fighting about who gets the middle seats. at one point, mat calls shotgun, but moiraine just looks at him completely straight-faced and he literally dives into the back to give her the front seat.)
