Of course, there are also cautionary tales meant to deter children from acting up and encouraging them to be good. Filial piety is something that I imagine Ionians to value a lot, so I can see lots of stories glorifying good sons and daughters. On the other hand, I can also see stories of malicious creatures and spirits punishing greedy, deceitful, and cruel children (oddly enough, I’m sure that stories of gumihos like Ahri float around as well too). ]
