3. I do not think you can legally prosecute a cat, as he cannot communicate his defense. Theoretically, it could be similar to legal guardian power of attorney for human children who are too young to communicate their defense, but it would be incredibly difficult to determine who actually gets this power - his biological mother is also a cat, I’m his caretaker but that puts me in a position of conflict of interest, and all other human family are children.

Mostly, yes. I’m not well versed in *all* law, but I have a fairly strong grasp on criminal law (and for unrelated reasons, the family court system)
